The problem is there are too many cooks in the kitchen! All the drug regulation organisations should have the same rules! Once a fight has been agreed and a contract signed.. you are in camp! Simple as dat!!

It's similar to ephedrine in that it is also an amphetamine. It is most commonly associated with weight loss supplements (no great surprise there) but can also be used as a stimulant (increased endurance).

It's only banned outside of competition by Vada almost all other (sports) governing bodies permit it outside of competition.

Massachusetts Athletic State Commission apparently abide by Wada. They only punish competitors for high levels of oxilofrine on the day of the competition...this fight should be happening I reckon.

That could be the saving grace that they follow WADA regulations and when this first broke I thought th is might go ahead for that reason and the fact Victor Conteh did an interview saying he will advise Andrade to go ahead with the bout but would like to see him heavily compensated. As Conteh is a big part of Andrades team and even put the money up to do the VADA testing I thought fight should be fine.

But a new interview emerged the other day with Conteh now saying he hopes the commission do the right thing and not sanction the bout!!! Both teams will put there case forward to why it should/shouldn't go ahead , but surely there is going to be major repercussion s if they let it to take place? They signed a contract to go through with the VADA testing so it's breach of contract so I don't see how they this can be sanctioned for the title surely Andrades team will just sue the fuc k out of everyone including the WBO if they allow this to go on when they have breached contract?

Personally I think they have ducked up with this VADA, under UKAD the usual testers they can use this stimulant and probably been using it heavily since BJS joined the gym.
