Miller vs Joyce or Breazeale doesn't get him Joshua ,so cant see it.

Joshua is a likely opponent and one that will hold interest if Miller can get just a top win .

Wilder wont be anywhere near Miller bc Millers not even ranked in the WBC, Wilder hasn't even fought more then one mando so far so.......

What Miller does bring is a dominant Hw who doesn't lose rounds...these are the biggest threats to Joshua bc once Joshua steps on the gas pedal one better be able to have the ability to hold his ground.

If Ortiz really wants the fight he'll take the Whyte headliner at the O2...but I doubt he will bc he himself has a terrible resume without wilder on it and will try a Wilder rematch bc hes right in the WBC mix or whoever has the belt by then.

It's cool you should pity them, those lowlife ignorants clearly never put blood sweat and tears into anything in their life!

I respect anyman that trains and gets in the ring and competes...win or lose...

This fight is fascinating. It's safe to say that whoever wins the first half of the fight wins the whole thing cause both are going to struggle in the second half with stamina and those rounds are complete 50-50's.

I do think Whyte will win, but only just. Whyte has to forget about boxing Ortiz and just aim to break him down toe to toe for 12 rounds. If he boxes Ortiz and tries to do something fancy, he will lose bad on the cards. Ortiz might be past it, but this isn't a Lucas Browne scenario.

And I hope Whyte does win so we can see him face the winner of Wilder-Fury, and most importantly, force the WBC to let the fight happen. I think we can see what they've done here. They originally wanted Wilder to face Breazeale, but then saw Joshua's April date slotted in, and changed their tune. So instead of fighting Breazeale, they'd get Fury out of the way (Which is good for both WBC and Haymon) and then fight Breazeale in April. They are hoping that Whyte will take the bait and end up fighting Joshua in April because he can't fight Wilder, and then lose. That means that Wilder no longer has to face Whyte and only needs to face Joshua. Clever...

Unfortunately, what Haymon and the WBC gang don't realise is that Wilder has to fight Joshua as quick as possible. The longer they leave it, the more likely he will get smashed to pieces by AJ.

What did I say that was wrong?

Ortiz does have a poor resume for somebody rated so highly by people like you, Ortiz is old, he does take medication, he tested positive for banned substance.. he just isn't all that.

He bring absolutely nothing to the table for a Whyte fight, nothing.

And you saying "he went life or death with Wilder.." means absolutely nothing.

Also, It's Haymons job to try and get Ortiz back in to any contention, not Hearn's and Whytes, Ortiz can go the long way, let the drug cheating old man just age, Father Time will defeat Ortiz so Whyte doesn't need to.

I mostly agree but if anything I'd say Whyte has done more to earn a title shot than any of the other contenders you mentioned, and shouldn't have to fight a killer like Ortiz while Miller and Breazeale (probably the two least proven top ten fighters) fight each other.

Whyte vs. Breazeale (for true WBC mandatory status, none of this 1st or 2nd mandatory BS) and Miller vs Ortiz for the right to fight Joshua seems the "fairest" way to me. Miller desperately needs to step up and Ortiz could really do with a marquee relevant win, the credit from the Jennings win is wearing real thin and beyond that his resume is pretty weak.

Hahaha yeah I said I would tip Whyte by late KO, I think he brings too much for an aging Ortiz but it will be a close fight, Ortiz vs Whyte is a way better fight than Whyte vs Chisora 2. Chisora couldn't beat him the first time, and since then, Whyte has been improving with every fight while Chisora has gotten older himself. Whyte vs Chisora 2 will be nowhere near as competitive or entertaining as the first, Whyte will easily outbox him the second time round.

A fight with Ortiz is a much more significant fight for Whyte. Put it this way, if Whyte beats Ortiz, Breazeale will be pushed aside and Whyte will be made mandatory. Also, if Fury beats Wilder as well, Wilder and his best win will have fallen away, paving the way for Whyte to be the legitimate world #3 and forcing a mega fight of his choice, vs Fury or Joshua 2, or potentially both. A win again Ortiz, which is a winnable fight for Whyte, elevates him to another level in regards to his earning potential and star power. It is claimed Ortiz is the 2nd best heavyweight in the world. If he beats Ortiz, either Fury or Wilder will have to face him next in order to save face.

He has a brutal body shot on him and his left hook is nothing to be sniffed at either. He hits hard enough to get anyone's respect

See post above. This would be OK also. I doubt Ortiz would face Miller though, Ortiz ran out of gas vs Wilder who barely threw a punch for the first 6 rounds, a 320 pound in your face bully like Miller would be too much for an aging Ortiz. Miller should definitely fight Breazeale, Chisora, Jennings, Parker in December though unless he gets a crack at the WBA title.

Fully agree with all of the above. Priority #1 is for AJ to fight the Fury-Wilder winner but all these other fights should happen in the meantime.

    ???

Dude dropped Parker heavily who has one of the best chins in the division so I'd disagree with that.

Ortiz better get rid of Whyte early because this goes past 6-7 rounds he's in trouble

He outboxed Wilder for a few rounds like:

    Gerald Washington
    Artur Szpilka
    Johan Duhaupas

    He wobbled Wilder like:

    Eric Molina
    Dustin Nichols
Harold Sconiers (he actually dropped wilder)

Outboxing Wilder for a few rounds and rocking him doesn't mean much, he's a dreadful "boxer" with dodgy whiskers, Wilder simply waited for ortiz to gas out then ktfo him.

Can't help feeling sorry for Josh Warrington and Carl frampton if this goes ahead on the same night as their title clash in Manchester.

Why? Anyone who genuinely cares about boxing will watch the better and more relevant BT card then catch Whyte getting KO'd on YouTube the next day.

All the other casual Brits on here have been insisting Ortiz is a bum since March. Why would they suddenly want to see him fight lol.

Either way, it's unlikely Ortiz and Whyte fight. Hearn needs someone for AJ to spark in April so he won't feed Whyte to anyone like Ortiz first. Hope I'm wrong though.

Who did Parker ever get hit by that made you jump to that conclusion? As far as I can tell, he's been hit flush once and he went down.
