Why would anyone be afraid to fight Kahn lol? At least among top tier boxers...hardly a thread worthy topic

After which one of Khan’s many KO losses was this fight most marketable?

Look, I despise Amir, but that doesn't mean Floyd didn't duck him.

Floyd would have KOd Khan had they ever fought, worse than Ricky Hatton.

Floyd would have scored multiple knock downs before stopping Khan

People saying Khan will get KTFO. Khan fought Maidana and didnt get KO'd. He's a stylistic nightmare for floyd. Canelo, Garcia And Prescott KO'n Khan isn't proof Floyd can, they are punchers, Floyd isn't. So if Floyd isn't knocking him out, he'll have to outpoint him, and hate on Khan as much as you like, his point scoring skills are right up there, thats why he's a silver medalist and beat Mario kindelan.

And lets not kid ourselves. Floyd polled the public who he should fight next, Khan or Maidana. Public answered Khan. Khan brought more money to the table than Maidana, and Khan BEAT Maidana. There was absolutely no way you could justify Floyd fighting Maidana instead of Khan. So why do you think he chose Maidana? It was obviously ducking, very blatantly so.

Maidana was heavy handed but not really a sharp accurate puncher. Floyd would time Khan right on the chin or temple and put him down.

Khan lost to Garcia. Maybe Floyd would have fought him had that not happened.

His best win in the last 4 years is Alexander.

If timing was enough, Floyd would have dropped or stopped far more people at WW. Only one he did that to is a UFC fighter and a sucker punch. Floyds got decent pop, but its not stoppage power at WW.

Again, there's a reason Floyd blatantly ducked Khan to fight Maidana instead, who lost the poll, who lost to Khan and was less money - he Khan's speed and olympic pedigree could present some problems. I think Floyd probably beats him 7-5 but I wouldnt be surprised if Khan surprised us. Khan IMO is a better point scorer than Judah and we saw him take a few rounds from Floyd.

Again, it doesnt explain why Khan just beat Maidana, and calls out Floyd. Floyd puts up a public poll asking who should he fight next, Khan or Maidana - Khan won the poll. So Khan beats Maidana, wins the poll, is the bigger money fight - WHY would you choose Maidana? We'd need to come up with a pretty good excuse to dance out of that one.

You make some good points but I just don't think Khan has the mental strength it takes to be able to beat Floyd. He would wind up making a mistake and getting tagged. Floyd also would adjust his game plan to suit his opponent he would know full well Khan is chinny and would go after him. Also Floyd stopped Hatton at 147 who like Khan was a former 140 pound champion.

yeah but no one should be hit that clean in a fight. The point is to hit and not get hit. If he fought smart and used his great skills and speed and was defensive, it wouldn't matter if he had a chin or not. But he leaves his chin out there and gets hit clean.

Brook must have put one hell of a beating on him in those sparring sessions for him to have this much fear.

You do realise that the TV network also did a poll and Maidana won right.

I think after Floyd saw most of his poll was full of khan fans in Bolton that he knew Maidana was the bigger money fight.
