most big money fighters are created by casual fans. do you guys really think that the more hardcore fans make them money? hahaha that why people like GGG/loma make pennies compared to casual fans
I agree somewhat with you comment. I have said this before but Furys retirement made people forget his style and he definitely gained more fans during his time off. I disagree that he has only had that performance, apart from Haye he handled Chisora better than anybody. Also Wlad wasn't allowed to be at his best against Fury because of how he fought. Fury would beat Wlad 10 times out 10 imo. His resume apart from that isnt great but he still has the best win out of all the current Heavies and you could argue 3rd best with Chisora, so you can't criticise him too heavily imo.
Shrink Tyson Fury down to 6'4 and he would look like a slightly better version of Malik Scott. What people don't understand is that Fury wins fights mainly because he has a 85 inch reach, when all things are equal the guy with the reach advantage wins most of the time. It's weird that nobody talks about it because it's so obvious, Furys fighting style wouldn't work if he would be a smaller man, his defense is mostly based on his size and his reach and those things are not actual boxing skills because you can't teach size and reach advantage in a gym. Fury is a big, awkward and crafty fighter but he is not a great technical boxer.
It is but you can make a case for it when you consider the timing. I'd probably rank Ortiz above it. Povetkin on paper is good but when you consider other factors it's debatable.
Fury has a great ring IQ and movement for such a big guy. He has slowed down and that will work against him with Wilder or any top 5 HW. His footwork and faints are insane so I give the man credit. He is more entertaining outside the ring but the non eye catching items he pulls off in the ring shows he knows boxing. He will trouble Wilder and he would confuse AJ but I think his time has passed yet I could be wrong because he is crazy as FK and you can’t counter crazy
So you're saying fans of Fury stuck with him while he wasn't boxing. By your own definition, it doesn't sound like the DNA of a casual to me...
Listen, in your rush to write your post, you didn't think things through properly. It happens. No big deal....
Listen the logical part of your brain resides in your anal gland , you have my sympathy but my time will no longer be available for you.
Still avoiding. Nice try at turning this onto me, but the flaws in this thread lie with you. And you know it....
