Anyone else starting to notice Joe Joyce's "old man skin"

Well Joyce is in great shape himself but no-one can look as good as AJ hence the old man skin comment by AJs number 1 fan/stalker.

Two fighters really known for looking after themselves outside of the ring...

Generally speaking, 33 is fine for a HW. I guess Povetkin is a good example in recent times

 

PEDs.....Im in better shape than Povetkin due to hard work and some PEDs and im 43

If I say that Joe Joyce is now looking his age,

Although he does back flips it's now plain to see,
That this novice fighter has turned 33,

So Haymon or Haye get your arse into gear,
Get Joyce in the ring with a quality peer,
Let's see him progress whilst he's still in his prime,
Cause he's got old man skin and he's run out of time,

 

Not noticed the skin buy it is a worry for him that he is going to get passed his prime and old before he gets a title shot.

He only has himself to blame though, odd decision to turn pro at 32 or however old he was. Why not start sooner..

I like him and think he can be right up there in the top 5 .

His issue is he will be avoided and struggle to be fast tracked. He has maybe 2 years to get a title shot and them it's down hill.

 

I'm guessing the timing of the Olympic cycle had something to do with it?

I know he came late into boxing late but would have thought he would have turned pro sooner if he harboured any ambitions of winning world titles.

 

This was quality !!!

 

I couldn't hold chasing an Olympic gold against him, sometimes the timing of the Olympic cycle works against some fighters and cuts into their pro career, just as in the case of say Amir Khan it worked for him.

 

He was more deserving of the gold than AJ too...

As a man in my VERY EARLY 40's

I found this "old man skin" thing quite disturbing, you had me looking in the mirror pulling my face around, I'm covered in red marks now, looks like I've been slapped around.

And for the record, I'm very firm and youthful looking facially, my nuts on the other hand are knocking around my kneecaps.
