Rep clarifies that oxilofrine isn't comparable to juicing in baseball. He says no competitive advantage was provided. He says VADA shouldn't dictate the standards MSAC holds athletes to. Board member (same one from before) retorts that he is well aware that Saunders didn't take anything to beef up like his old baseball rivals but that personal experience and professional judgment do not allow him to make an exception to MSAC's rules in regards to a positive test.

Saunders is put on speakerphone and briefly please his case when prompted by his rep.

They put to a vote.

First board member (baseball guy) says he moves to deny. Another member, an old bald white guy sighs, mulls it over and says he seconds. All in favor to deny - aye.

NO LICENSE.

Billy Jo still on the phone asks the room "so what happened? Can I box in Massachusetts?" His rep says "no Billy they have denied your application"

BILLY JO YELLS THROUGH STATIC, VOICE CRACKING "WELL GREAT. WELL THEN SUCK MY PRICK YA BUNCH A PENISES"

Board member smirks "yeah, real smart decision there...

 

I think Eddie said hundred percent of he doesn't get a licence they will strip him. Wonder if Frank can work his magic with the WBO old boys club!
