Doubt they paid 90 pounds quid whatever for it, I heard May vs McGregor was $100 a buy, that **** is nuts.

Beterbiev and Roman were also unbackable favourites.

The whole card was filled with mismatches, but atleast they were a little interesting. Had some bangers etc

This card isn't up to standard at all, straight trash

USA is a bigger market and the fight had some interest outside of the usual market.

Lots of hype and a little bit of freakshow intrigue.

Mismatchroom USA is filled with no names and b siders.

They need to bring bums from the UK who no one has ever heard of to take beatings and make up the numbers lol

I disagree, and not only that I think the quality of this card 4-5 deep is on par or better than anything ESPN, ESPN+ Showtime, FS1 etc., put on.

Alright, you're clearly not worth the time it takes to have a conversation with you, goodbye.

$10 is excellent value. I'd get DAZN if I lived in the states. I prefer boxing, but I don't mind a bit of MMA aswell, and there's live shows every week. I'm sure they'll get a big name in the next few months. I think they'll make a big offer to Canelo.

I'm pretty sure once they get that big name from this market (they already have Joshua), the seal will be broken so to speak.

    Exactly.

The first card was your average mis-matchroom BS. Hearn parading out some over-matched brit lads to get sparked. But this one really takes the biscuit.

He clearly campaigned to get BJS banned and stripped so he could give his marquee name Andrade (lol) a belt. Knowing that was his plan, you think he'd do something to bolster the card, but he's done literally **** all. Now he has a non-title fight between Andrade and an obscure African headlining a spectacularly horrendous undercard.

He clearly has no money for these DAZN shows. The fake billion story was the worst thing he could have done as it's made him look like a clown. I expect to see DAZN going out to more and more other boxing promoters in the near future if they're at all serious.

The money might be real but at the rate he is paying these bums, how is he going to afford to pay decent fighters.

I bet McDonnell and Johnson got paid good money to take beatings. They could have paid US unknown bums less money and got the same bang for their buck.

Eddie and his team are telling everyone that they have to over pay fighters to attract them at the moment. No doubt they can't do that forever lol.

He is actually quite cunning using dazn money to pay his Brit guys lol, 2 birds with one stone. Keeps them happy and makes a name for them. Then they go back to UK a bigger players win or lose.
He can also talk about the career high pays he is giving all these fighters.

Absolutely no way he can afford to pay Canelo, ffs he will be wanting 20-30mill per fight now, 150mill per year budget won't last long

That's a solid point. He's now gonna bang on about how Anthony Yarde is ducking Callum Johnson and how his guys are willing to step up but nobody else is.

I'm sure Hearn can't afford Canelo, but surely DAZN have to sign up GBP if they really want to compete. They're not exclusive with Hearn and everyone on here was banging on about how they're backed by a Russian billionaire who can't give it away quick enough.

I thought the first DAZN event was pretty good and exceeded expectation (very good feed back from the American DAZN subscribers of the event). Entertaining competitve main event, Johnson vs Beterbiev was more competitve than most were expecting with Johnson dropping him. Roman was a comfortable victory but a decent fight to watch. The only real mismatch was Miller vs Adamek.

As for the DAZN second event, this is what you get if you trust a Frank Warren fighter in a main event. Frank Warren's main fighters have a history of pulling out of events with "injuries" and failing drug tests.

Eddie did the right thing by getting the WBO rank 2 as a replacement.

The hate for Hearn is jokes. Obsessed is more appropriate.

Have a look through your posting history the past 6 months. You've personally posted about a hundred times more pro-Hearn cheerleading posts than any one Hearn hater on this board.

Who is it that's obsessed again?
