If there's one thing I know about MMA its that when an "unbeatavle" fighter comes on the scene he gon lose real soon
If Khabib gets by Tony, he'll probably clean out 155. I really hope Dana swallows his pride and makes that matchup.
At 170 GSP beats Khabib comfortably imo. The fight to make OBVIOUSLY is TFerg v Khabib. I think Tony wins because he is relentless for 5 rds and sensational on the ground. Khabib will get takedowns but as the fight progresses I see Tony taking over.
Conor beats him in the rematch. Conor let him win to build the rivalry and get a bigger paycheck in the rematch.
The notion of Conor overriding his ego and allowing himself to be taken down four times, dropped in the second round, dominated, mauled and submitted by a man he utterly detests is simply laughable to me. If Conor wants to be overwhelmed and trounced again against Khabib, that's on him -- especially if he doesn't fight again for another year or another two years and just jumps straight back in against Khabib. This rematch will end up a repeat and not a revenge. And the casuals who blindly champion Conor McGregor -- even when he acts in a ridiculous manner and is continually excused by Dana for doing so -- will drown amidst a deluge of their own salty tears.
Was wondering if it was just me! His post presser for 229 was just so cringy. I’m all for confident verbosity, but it was a mess of insecurity dressed up as confidence. I like quirky odd - think Forest Griffin who is funny weird. But Ferguson is such a try-hard. Won’t stop me from watching him though. He’s got some entertaining fight game.
Khabib has bigger fish to fry, right Ferguson could beat Conor because like Khabib he can take Conor`s best shot and GSP is rated by many as P4P the greatest MMA fighter in the world, Conor is a fantastic fighter, but vastly overrated, he simply met his match here and needs to build himself up again by beating a lower level fighter.
Both really It's just the way it is on MMA, you reach the top you have 2-3 fights before you end up losing. We have seen it time and time again Fully expect Khabib now to lose within 12-18 months probably to someone nobody expects
Khabib’s grind-em-out style isn’t conducive to longevity, relies on cardio and physicality too much. Technique is just okay. If he’d showed at say, 70% for that fight, Conor prolly catches him.
