lol wow that is precise I just asked to see how close you were, how far you were away from the ring. I just checked that block on wembleystadium.com looks like you were in the "mezzanine" section which would have been behind the goal if it were football. it must have been an awesome experience seeing that fight in a stadium. some people think seeing boxing fights in a stadium you are "too far away" and can barely see the fighters, but i bet the atmosphere more than makes up for it.
Yeah it was amazing mate. I can understand why people might feel that way, they were definitely 'small' from where I was sitting, so to make two 6'6/6'7 blokes weighing around 240-250lbs look small you have to be some way away haha. But yeah the atmosphere made up for everything. Was worth every penny spent on that ticket for the experience that night.
that's really cool. I still haven't been to NYC, but do remember watching that fight with my dad, who is the reason I'm a boxing fan.
Wembley is on my bucket list. Glad you got to experience that. Honestly, I was thrilled just watching it on TV.
Thank you mate! Yeah like I said before the atmosphere was just indescribable! Definitely recommend going for a big fight if you can.
Mayweather vs. Ortiz... on card was Erik Morales, Adonis Stevenson, Jessie Vargas, Anthony Crolla, Josesito Lopez.
Top fights for sure. Of the three, which fighter impressed you the most seeing live? And was it the same when you viewed later on tv? Where youy were sitting did anyone get restless for Klitscho vs Haye? Such little action, I got bored watching it & flipped the channel a few times.
Who did you have winning? The crowd must have been hyped! Was there a feeling of Chavez might be losing? After each round vs Dirrell I remember many of us felt that Andre was fading against Abraham.
Klt Klitschko vs Haye was boring but live fights are never as boring as they are on TV because you can feel the tension behind every feint. Cotto vs Clottey was the highest quality fight in terms of boxing ability. Hopkins vs Pascal was my favorite because I am from the same town as Pascal and Hopkins though old pretty much got me into the sport when he beat Tito. I've seen a lot of fringe champs fight because there are a lot of them who fight out of Montreal.
Pacquiao vs Horn. We drove 10 hours from Sydney to Brisbane. Well, we could have taken the plane but it wouldn't be as fun. So yeah, what an experience. Brisvegas is way better than Sydney.
whitaker-chavez pac-barrera dlh-kamau nelson-leija ayala jr-yori boy campas these stick out in my mind right now, been to a few more good ones.
I went to a lower tier mma fight on NBC sports and they moved everyone down for the main event to make it look packed
