With the way Lewis pulled out a combination to end things against Volkov in what was a very clear 30-27 loss it had me thinking which other fights have had a dramatic turnaround like that.

    Here's 3 more.

Gracie Vs Severn. Dan the beast controlled top position against Gracie for about 15 minutes in a row before Royce pulled off a choke from nowhere to end things. I think it was a triangle from what I recall.

Lesnar Vs Mir. Lesnar was pushing Mir's **** in but then hammer fisted the back of his head, from the reset Mir caught him in a very loose leg lock and Lesnar panicked and tapped.

Silva Vs Sonnen. Chael put a beating on Silva for 5 rounds and then from nowhere Silva demonstrated why he's also a black belt on the mat and locked in a triangle choke to end matters.

Any more that come to mind?

    Gracie vs Kimo.

Kimo did his homework and yet it still wasn't good enough.

    Fedor/Randleman.

You actually feared for Fedor's life and well being when he came down from that suplex. 1-2 minutes later and he has Kevin yelping in pain (RIP Kevin).

    Sell/Smith.

I reckon Smith feigned injury, but nonetheless it was a tremendous turn around.

Cheick Kongo vs Pat Barry. Cheick, badly hurt and getting battered by Pat, was on the brink of being stopped before finding a massive shot out of nowhere to iron Pat out.

I thought Matt Hughes in Hughes/Trigg 2 was epic.

After the low blow, shots and beat down from Trigg I was sure Hughes was done.
Then beast mode kicked in. Queue running slam into the corner and choke out.
    Amazing stuff.

Great call. That slam was actually INSANE! Mortals’ necks would have snapped.
    Then the sub. Legend.

That was special. Trigg had every advantage on paper and Hughes managed to overcome the odds and beat him in dramatic fashion.

Frankie Edgar against Gray Maynard II & III

    Darren Elkins vs. Mirsad Bektic

Meisha Tate vs. Holly Holm, although Meisha took far less punishment than the other examples, and had a big round in round 2. Nevertheless, she was being definitively outpointed.

I agree with all those listed including the 1st Silva vs Sonnen fight which was the 1st that came to mind.
The 1st Mcgregor v Diaz fight I felt Connor was winning fairly easily before shocking everybody by going for a weak TD attempt on Diaz and getting subbed not long after

Russow vs. Duffee. Still can't believe Russow hit him with that savage hammerfist afterwards. That was just cruelty.
