If Bakole is as good as they say he will win 100%. I will also add him to my top 20 line up of prospects. Rahman thinks Hunter is the best kept secret at Hw but also says theres a limited amount of serious guys ?This tells me he doesn't follow the HW's and knows Hunter. Theres very little weight on his view. Hunter is far from top 20 prospect at HW unless he shows it tomorrow.

Going with Bakole by late stoppage i'll take round 9.

Martin Bakole: “I have not been playing games in this camp. I have given everything in training and I have been hurting guys in sparring. I don’t believe Hunter will be able to take my power when I’m wearing smaller gloves, and I think I will break him down tomorrow night.”

Michael Hunter: “You’re going to see a boxing masterclass tomorrow night. This guy has no experience, and that’s where he’ll go wrong. I’ll outbox Martin Bakole, and I do not see this fight going the distance. Expect fireworks from the first bell.”

Hunter's father had a nice resume, including a Gold Medalist. I'm hoping he continues the family legacy. Always had a soft spot for both the original Bounty Hunter and his son.

The better question is why are people so high on hunter I don’t see anything special about the dude. I see he’s solid all around but just because he gave Usyk a run for his money doesn’t mean he’s hof champ material. Every special fighter meets a couple mountains to climb in their careers and it doesn’t necessarily take away from how good they were. If Bakole blows Hunter away does that make Usyk any less talented? Poor triangle theories are simplistic, unsubstantiated assessments and overcompensating Usyks resume by blowing Hunters abilities out of proportion is tacky to say the least.

Maybe I’m wrong and I’m willing to accept that.

Have you missed Hunter pole axing that heavyweight trial horse guy that Kownacki and Joyce both fought? He's nothing more than a modest sized cruiserweight who's performed exactly as well against a name opponent as the super heavies. It's hardly just the losing Usyk effort, he's clearly a talented fighter.

His tier of talent isn’t something I find awe inducing but he’s certainly above average. Again me judging a fighter based on how other people performed versus a similar opponent isnt the most accurate gauging tool in my opinion. To each his own

    Huge step up for Ilunga.
But he will have 40+ pounds advantage.
