Furthermore, Whyte has no predigree of note and he has far less experience than Chisora and Parker. And funnily enough he took on the best version of both, Parker switched his tactics from the Joshua bout to come in and trade, and to throw the kitchen sink at Whyte. Whyte took it all, and Parker gassed as a result, looking to his trainer by the mid-late rounds in total dismay, just as Chisora did in round 4 when he failed to get Whyte out of there early. Chisora was the most fired up you will ever see him when he fought Whyte. The build up really made him come in at 120% and the body can do incredible things with that much will power, aggression and adrenaline. Several cases documented in history of human beings doing crazy things through mental power alone. And Whyte soaked all that up.
I wouldn't mind seeing Whyte vs Dereck "Money Man" Chisora. But calling out old man Ortiz like that without any intention to walk the talk is pathetic. That now makes it two times Dil boy has ducked Ortiz inside six months. That punk better not dare to utter Ortiz's blessed name ever again.
Never said it was a bad fight, it was a great fight, but Whyte fought Chisoras fight in the first one, in the second one, Whyte should outbox him quite easily.
I'm someone who has given Whyte a lot of stick and will continue to do so. If he beat Ortiz (cleanly, no a BS Chisora type win), he would get a Hell of a lot of credit from me. Same way Wilder did, as I had him beating Wilder too as a prediction. I can give Whyte some credit, he's proven to be better than I thought he was for sure. I thought Parker would beat him, I guess he came reasonably close, but I ended up being more disappointed in Parker than anything else. I wanted to give him props for the Browne fight but the state Browne came into that fight just makes it difficult to do so.
If I was putting my body and health on the line against top ten opposition at HW time after time I'd want the most money available. That is clearly a Chisora rematch at present for Whyte. Give Parker a good couple of solid come-back Ws and a rematch for them would generate as much as the first fight. Might fill a stadium in NZ.... Both of these options absolutely eclipse what can be generated from fighting Ortiz. It's prize fighting gentlemen. Luis Ortiz is infected, like most of his stateside counterparts, with the disease of inactivity and irrelevance for the casual. Whyte should be the last person fans are pointing fingers at and making demands of. His work in recent months far surpasses that of a lot of other contenders and I for one wouldn't begrudge him anything: he deserves a shot at some sort of title or a big money fight. People need to get off his D. Ortiz needs to get off his backside and come to the UK, do what Parker did and actually box ffs. He should be glad to get in with Pricey on an undercard, that's the level (in terms of marketing) he's at till he builds his name up a bit.
Whyte v Chisora is a fore gone result ..Whyte easily outboxes and possibly stops Chisora Whyte has (i led to understand) signed to fight Ortiz .. now im gonna go out on a limb here and say , the Ortiz that fought Wilder beats Whyte ..cleanly ..
Ortiz is clearly the tougher fight, but Chisora wasn’t an easy fight by any means, otherwise there wouldn’t be calls for a rematch. Honestly, I couldn’t blame him for securing a Joshua fight, as he wants a title fight. Objectively, fighting Ortiz next seems like a silly move. Great fight though.
I'd rather see a new fight than a rematch. In fact, for contenders, not for champs, I would virtually always have that preference. While we are seeing more contender v contender matchups than in years past, we still don't have enough. While Whyte Chisora was a disputable result, we really learned enough from it. They are roughly evenly matched. Now I want to see how Whyte does against Ortiz, Miller, big Dom, or even Wilder. Same thing with del boy. Lets see how they do against others. If one was a champ, then yes it's unfinished business. A champ needs to be definitively the best. If Whyte upsets Wilder or AJ, he would owe del boy a rematch. But as of now he's just not at that level and I'd rather see more clearly how he fits in as a contender in the rest of the division.
Whyte lost to Chisora but Mis-Matchroom tucked up the judges to keep him on course for another AJ KO. That's not even a secret at this point. Why would you then make a thread pretending Whyte beats Chisora easy? Why would you then also pretend Whyte fights Ortiz when he's been ducking him for years now? None of this makes any sense.... unless.... unless.... you continue to be the most transparent Mis-Matchroom loving douche on the forum. This thread is beyond LAME.
I would love to see a rematch between Whyte and Chisora as, unlike the BS beef we saw in those 3 pressers for Fury vs Wilder, those 2 mofos absolutely ****ing hate each other and you'll see that displayed in their in the ring performance. I have to say though, watching Whyte finally derail the overhype train that is Ortiz would be infinitely more satisfying as it would finally shut the pie hole of all the Wilder fanboyz trying to claim that Wilder is already the man, and when he beats the manic depressive, former coke addicted bloater that is Fury, AJ gets relegated to the B side and will be lucky to get a 40% split.......gtfoh.....
Whyte beat Chisora in the first one when slugging with him. Whyte easily beats Chisora in the second one when he boxes him. Im calling for Whyte to fight Ortiz, a US based Al Haymon fighter from a different promoter, you do realise Chisora is with matchroom, an inhouse fight Hearn wants, or are really that dense you moron? Whyte and Ortiz called each other out at the start of the week cause Chisora wouldnt sign, have you lost touch with the news... and reality? Your hatred blinds you like a bat, but youll always be our special one little Davo
