I see on Oddschecker they have some very interesting and generous odds in the case any of the following fights get made. Billy Joe Saunders v Amir Khan (Saunders 1/2 on). Personally I would put every penny I owned on that bet if that fight ever happened lol. Callum Smith 11/8 against either Canelo or GGG, who are both 4/7 on if that fight happened. Such a match up would be more likely than the above and obviously it would be a more competitive match up, but i would fancy Smith to beat both. Who the hell makes these odds up for bookies lol.
I would never bet against canelo, the judges will stitch you up. I would be all over Saunders at 1/2 against Khan.
I think they are baseing it on Canelo and GGG being unknown quantities at super middle, but for the smaller Canelo this could be a bridge too far, I feel any Top Ten LIGHT MIDDLE should be 1/2 on to beat Khan let alone the bigger Saunders.
I agree about the Saunders bet, but if there not sure about GGG and Canelo at 168ib they surely should be outsiders not favourites against the best super middleweight on the planet, who also happens to be absolutely massive at the weight.
I'd pile on smith against Canelo. The size difference would be insane, Alvarez is practically the sake height as floyd
Bookmakers are terrible at setting odds. Sky Bet are actually one of the worse when it comes to boxing, despite Sky being a major boxing broadcaster.
I don't think anyone bets on those fights, why tie up your money in a potential fight that may not happen? The only time to look at the odds is when the fight is announced, that's when bets are made and the odds reflect the market. However, it's still very interesting to look at the odds.
Agree with the BJS one. But I’d fully expect both Canelo and GGG to beat smith. There are levels in boxing, remember. I’m not saying I don’t think Smith has a chance, but I’d definitely have him the underdog, we don’t truely know his level just yet.
