Jesus guys, old man Foreman barely squeaked past AXEL SCHULTZ and now he's suddenly destroying prime Povetkin? He also barely beat ALEX STEWART ... basically by 1-2 rounds. Lay off the drugs ffs, will you?

Povetkin would absolutely, unequivocally, destroy OLD Foreman.

Povetkin went the Distance with Rudenko who lost to Lucas Browne for God sake....Foreman is in my top 5 Heavyweights of all time....I just can not understand anyone who say's a Prime Foreman would possibly struggle against Povetkin...It's a staggering statement...

foreman won multiple titles when he was in his 40s, Povetkin at his best PLUS with PEDs, was just a contender.

    easy math.

No he was 42 vs Holyfield he was 44 vs Morrison.

Born in 49, fought Morrison in 93 so clearly 44.

Morrison performed very well vs Foreman. Did something against his natural instincts and boxed and moved, refused to engage and used a decent jab too.

Not sure Povetkin can replicate the Morrison performance, not that he isn't as good as Morrison he's better in fact but he has a shorter reach and never shown he could box like that. I can't see Povetkin pushing Foreman back, he'll get mauled and pushed about on the inside as Foreman was much stronger. If Povetkin wins he fights in a manner we've never seen before from him, boxing and moving and winning on points.

Foreman 44 against Morrison and wasn't as good as he was from 88-92. From 44 on wards he found it harder to cut the ring off but before that he was able to track you down and clobber you with every blow he threw.

But he wouldn't even have to go looking for Povetkin because he's going to be right there coming forward thus doubling the impact/power of Foremans shots.

Some people don't seem to realize what sickening /savage / paralyzing power Foreman had.

Bert Cooper was literally thrown across the ring by a single body shot. Cooper fought toe-to-toe with guys like Holy , Mercer and Moorer but ran out of the ring after only two rounds against Foreman.
And in those two rounds he never dared to come forward once.

Pocetkin is walking onto shovel / bolo punches , right hands , battering ram jabs , uppercuts. There's only so much he can take.
He has 6 rounds tops before he falls.

Post 44 Foreman could be beaten by Povetkin , but any version before that batters Povetkin into submission.

That said I think (prime) Povetkin is good enough to hang with virtually any HW in hostory. You'd have to favour a prime Foreman over him on resume, but I think it would be competitive.

Killers exist in the battle field. Boxing is a sport and not a killing zone. You need to get your head checked whilst you're comprehending this simple fact.

Only those boxers that were in the army, might be considered 'killers'.

Who did Povetkin beat? Who did anybody beat?

Mike Tyson got blasted out of the ring at age 38 by Danny Williams. A bum with 50% losses out of his career record. That's ASTRONOMICALLY worse than getting stopped in the 7th round by a genuine knockout puncher like Anthony Joshua at age 39.

Foreman lost to Jimmy Young. Povetkin never lost to anybody as bad as Jimmy Young.

Styles makes fights. Schultz, Stewart, Morrison even Holyfield used tons of movement to ensure they stayed away from Foreman's power. None of those guys even the usually "go to war" Evander was willing to stand and trade consistently.

Povetkin some how changes his style and boxes he could definitely win, but that's a hypothetical Povetkin we've never seen. He goes at Foreman he'll probably be winning right up to the point he gets caught much like his fight vs Joshua.

Logically the old man should lose to Povetkin but Moorer is the outlier result that puts logic out the window here. Briggs too should of beat easily the oldest version of Foreman but he was out boxed. Foreman could defy odds at times.

Moorer was stupid, really stupid in that fight. If he wasn't so disrespectful he would've ud'd Foreman, like Morrison. Pov might hurt Foreman to the point the ref has to step in
