Tete is a safety first technical boxer, who happens to have decent power. Aloyan is an amateur champion, who had some defensive skill. He obviously trained for Tete's left hand and uppercut. No shame in Tete not getting a KO here. Tete has never been a go for broke face first brawler.

 

Because no ones avoiding him. Look at his competition since he moved up. He's been protected as hell. Villanueva, a 59 year old Narvaez, a worse than British domestic level Gonya...the division doesn't fear him.

Inoue didn't really have much problems last time he faced a southpaw...

 

I think the cards were about right in this fight CTS,but that's what I think lol.

 

Once you will have 5k comments you wont see those CST scorecards as wrong, but as CST scorecards XDDDDDD he scores his own way

 

Especially when both have decent skill.

 

I was not talking about Inoue having problem vs southpaws, but about tete having problems vs southpaws.

 

So there were 6 scorecards on this forum. 5 gave the fight to Tete. 1 gave the fight to Aloyan. And who do you suppose the outlier was?

 

i'm not, i'd agree if i was just judging him on this fight, but there's a reason why i've held this opinion of him for so long, there's been a few performances where i've not been overly impressed.

 

i've always felt his power is overrated and the massive hype is unwarranted, not just judging him on this performance

 

If someone shines in southpaw vs orthodox it's not very common that he shines too in southpaw vs southpaw. The strategies, movements, feints, everything is so different that is hard to see someone that excels at both.

For instance lomo vs russel was another fight where a shouthpaw couldnt shine his full potential (russell, I think he's better than what he showed in this fight).

It happens a lot.
