Said from the start this was a bizarre fight to make. Hunter was excellent against Usyk.

He's a boxer - more balls than most of us on this forum.
He fought on despite the injury one handed.. could have ended up very badly hurt.
This is what is wrong with the sport fans who have no idea about what sacrifices and damage boxers have to take.

Really impressive performance by Hunter he fought a really risky fight and he's obviously got a lot of confidence in his ability to take a shot but it paid off in the end. He made Bakole look slow and cumbersome as you would expect when facing a much smaller and faster opponent. I felt sorry for Bakole at the end and Nelson should've probably let him pull out when he said he couldn't continue although I understand why he didn't.

Probably performs better in the gym. I don't doubt he has days where he looks a killer against anyone in sparring

Bakole is like Dillian Whyte without any respect for the warrior’s code

Hunters bravery to constantly and relentlessly attack is impressive. The warriors code is written based off performances like that. He fully deserved to stop that Brutus. :borra2:

A trainer cant allow that at the first whiff of resistance, I think he called it right. Bakole mentally folded

Those of you defending Bakole - he didn’t throw the right hand at all in the 9th round shielding the right as if it was badly hurt.

Then dramatically in the 10th he starting throwing massive right hooks and uppercuts and then at the end raised both arms for a high five.

Have any of you ever had a serious shoulder injury? A serious tear to the rotator cuff would leave someone in agony, unable to raise their arms above head level without severe pain.

If Bakole was seriously injured he wouldn’t have been able to do what he did at the end. Let’s see if he needs shoulder surgery after the fight. I guarantee you he won’t.

He was clearly exaggerating the injury.

Yep, and Nelson knew it. He seems the type that would have his fighters interests at heart if needed, Bakolie needed telling !

Hunter should have been fighting at h/w from the get-go of his career.

    He's a top 3 Amercan h/w behind Wilder & Miller.

Too big of a step up for Bakole. Hunter was really well credentialed.

Could be a player in the UK h/w scene from here.
