He lacked heart, didn't seem to unhappy he lost at the end either. Sometimes u dont find stuff like tgis out till fight night and its needed.
A coach can only do so much. As I said he lacks heart does Bakole and it a will to push thro pain barriers or get down to work when it gets tough. If that mentality us the same in training then it don't matter who the coach is
And u are aware that one of billys strengths is the condition he gets his fighters into. Harrison and burns have both spoken about this being one of his strenghts
Ah, a new member having a pop at Billy...never ever see you post on here but you pop up to slate Billy. My guess is that you’ve had several accounts and keep getting banned. You give us regulars a bad reputation. No wonder trainers/fighter’s barely post on here.
Hunter was clearly all wrong for Bakole with the movement, think Bakole will do well against proper HWs as daft as it may sound. Was weird, he sometimes picks up the tempo later into a round throwing like a triple jab then kind of lacks any urgency. Also think he underestimated Hunter in the first round, his attitude struck me as something like 'Yea you can have that round, I'll just tire you out and KO you soon anyway'. Then he missed quite a few big hooks in rounds 2 and 3 and seemed to fall apart a bit, lack of experience to not just box, then the injury etc. Definitely a lack of experience contributed to it. Don't blame Billy for wanting him to go out last 2 rounds with his shoulder, wasn't like he was taking a pasting or anything or even in trouble at any point beforehand. Agree that he could still jab away.
Billy nelson has been constantly bigging him up on twitter saying he’s one of the top prospects in the world etc .. far too much pressure to be put on his shoulders
To be honest he wanted out but Billy made him stick in there. If he really wanted to quit he would have and he did make an effort in round 9 so I won't judge based off one fight. Often see fighters feeling sorry for themselves until there trainer steps in.
Ah can’t wait to see what billy is gonna come up with now his future heavyweight king who would beat Joshua easily, was the reincarnation of Ali and could punch like Tyson has lost Surely that will silence him, can’t wait to see joe Joyce and Sam Jones reactions
Bakole reminded me of David Price tonight and I think that Price should be his next fight as both look evenly matched on heart, stamina and desire to get out of the ring at the first opportunity.
Pressure is part of the game. Gonna have to deal with it at some point. If ur in it to try n get to the top you need to deal with pressure. Guys like aj have had much more pressure in them from day 1
