One solid punch (if connects are otherwise a landslide the other way) doesn't win a round unless it scores a knockdown.

Bud struggles with height (and Jose doesnt have especially long arms).

If Jose starts to let his hands fly like he is now....Bud is going to be exposed.

Crawford is not that great. He leaves his head down in exchanges and can be countered. I have seen him before, but there are weaknesses. Benvenidaz should throw the lead right and then throw a left hook. He hits him with the lead right.

Benavidez has a good gameplan and he is sticking to it rather well.

I still think Crawford will win by bodypunching, but he leaves his chin out there. He is fast but his reach is not that great to have his hands down. Guys today even the top guys are not that great.

Jose landed a body shot that got Bud's attention.

    Round 5

Crawford is pumping out right jabs behind a high guard. Benavidez is pressuring his way inside and slashing down at Crawford with both hands, working off a high stiff jab or crunching lead right on the sternum. Crawford is darting in with right jabs, hitting gloves. Benavidez catches him with a short counter right. Crawford tries again but is swatted behind the head with a Benavidez left hook. Crawford is hopping in place, thinking out his next move. Crawford jumps in with a grazing combination and Benavidez backs into the ropes to make Crawford lunge and miss with a right jab.

    10-9 Benavidez

    49-46 Crawford
