Benavidez's jab was pretty weak as well. No snap to it. Not a weapon at all.

Porter can't box for ****. He's a good swarmer but smothers himself. Garcia is done. He won't beat any top welter ever.

I’d favor both Spence and Thurman against Crawford. That Benavidez right hand was landing far too much for my liking and I think stunned Crawford a couple times.

Arum should be ashamed of himself putting Crawford in with a maimed opponent. If the guys own trainer said the knee wasn't ready, he shouldn't have been put in the fight.

It wouldn't have shocked me if they put the camera on him and he was spraying all over the play like one of those Futanari porns.:elefant:

Nice finish by Crawford, Benavidez actually had a lot of success when he let his hands go but he spent way too much time posturing and not enough punching. Crawford's speed of hand and foot was definitely causing him problems and they'll cause everyone at the weight problems. However, he did land with his fair share of quality clean rights and lefts of his own when he actually committed to punching.

I still think One Time will put Crawford's lights out if he's the same One Time of a couple of years ago, especially more so now considering the ease at which Benavidez was able to tag him, and he hits a whole lot harder than Benavidez does too. I'd probably lean towards Crawford if he fights Spence but I'm not quite as confident as I was before tonight.

He needs to get his ass back in the ring though, what's up with that guy anyways?

It's been now more than 18 months.

This is exactly why he never fulfilled his promise. See his fights against Herrera and Santana. Ramrod jab but zero movement and a tendency to cover up on the ropes.

Joshua/Wilder would be the bigger fight(Fury is still in the way though) but for my money Crawford/Spence is THE fight to see in 2019.

Then he shouldn’t have taken the fight
But they felt they could win or cash out going 12 rounds
That 12th obliteration was the last thing they expected

He can't box for ****, then how did he outbox Danny Garcia, and come within a round of outboxing Thurman?

I still think joshua/wilder would be so hype, but I think Craw/Spence is a close #2. Both have to be made next year though or boxing continues to die.

you have to be an A fighter to beat benavidez, bum knee and all. the legs are paramount to fighters who rely on them for defensive movement, without them they get caught. jose doesnt defend with his legs so a stiff leg is not going to finish him like it did sergio. his timing and reflexes were still on point, bud was just a bit better, as expected.
my respect to jose, he took the loss like a soldier.
