    In a few posts you and Zakman will prob start banging on about the average ego being shaky and few people having iron egos. At least that might give me a laugh which is more than I can say about your current contribution to this thread.

    That's reasonable, based on what we have seen so far. As I have said, there are gradations of shaky chins, and certainly Beterbiev's does not seem as shaky as Jackson's or Amir Khan's, certainly.

    Re-watch the fight it's Beterbiev's defence or rather lack thereof that is the issue. Johnson cracked him with a lot of big shots: lead rights, counter rights and lefts, catch and counter left hooks or counter left hooks (very dangerous shots) after Beterbiev had gone downstairs with the right. Johnson has heavy hands and the vast majority of the shots he caught Beterbiev landed cleanly.

    Ironically Beterbiev actually had his guard up when he got caught by the shot that put him over. However, it wasn't protecting his chin and Johnson came inside the guard with the left hook and it landed flush on his Beterbiev's chin while he mistakenly thought he was safe behind his guard.

    And if you look at the KD you can see his ass never actually touched the canvas, and even though he'd been hurt by the shot his head cleared remarkably quickly and he had his legs back beneath him almost immediately too. If he was that badly hurt he wouldn't have been able to stop his ass from hitting the canvas.

    Yeah, this a what a reasonable person would conclude. Concerns have been raised about this guy's ability to take a punch. That's all.

    But if you point this out, you have to be prepared for all the blowback from the deluded glass jaw deniers and blind fanboys that seem to populate this site. It's like it's some heresy to point out that some fighters might have shaky mandibles!!
