He might be looking at a UFC ban so is calling out Floyd

He's flavour of the month right now so Floyd may as well school him for another 100m

Yup. A lot of casual fight fans ive spoken to in the last week think khabib is literally invincible in a fight.

He's actually even worse at stand up than mcgregor was but hey ho

Agreed, but Floyd is 42 and getting older, I won't watch that farce but Khabib has his chances

It was not serious, he was just having a laugh with Leonard Ellerbe.

But don't let that stop you from getting outraged.

Meh Floyd could be 50 id still favour him.

These ufc guys don't really even have the proverbial punchers chance because they don't hit anywhere near as hard as boxers.

(And yes UFC fans before you get upset Joe Rogan and former UFC champ Michael bisping have taken shots on the pads from pro boxers and said the power difference is "world's apart")

All these UFC boys desperate for their boxing payday

    UFC is a joke.

You don't see elite boxers running to the UFC for freak show pay fights to get their asses whooped like Khabib and McGregor.

Khabib's ban will be issued by the Nevada State Athletic Commission, so any ban they hand down will preclude him from taking part in all combat sports sanctioned within Nevada -- the state in which Floyd resides and fights -- for the entire duration of said ban.

Crossover fights are generally a dumb idea anyway.

I'm a big fan of Khabib. That guy has other-worldly skills when it comes to grappling.

The problem in this matchup is he's not a good striker at all. Very slow punches, not really too accurate and he doesn't have good combination punching or counterpunching ability.

Connor is actually one of the best- if not the best- striker in all of the UFC with a decent background training in boxing when he was younger. I didn't expect him to have any success in a fight with FLoyd but he was able to get some shots in here and there. I think what helped him especially early on is he was bringing an unconventional style that Floyd had to figure out for a couple rounds before starting his attack on him.

Khabib is very basic in his striking game. Floyd will see his punches coming from a mile away; I'd imagine he stopped Khabib by the mid rounds in a very one sided affair.

That's down to the UFC management structure not paying their fighters -- even the top draws -- anywhere near what they are really worth. I think Conor -- UFC's top draw and crossover star -- was paid a $3 million purse for fighting Khabib, despite UFC 229 doing somewhere in the region of 2.4 million buys. Although I assume he'll receive some add-ons to his purse commensurate with the buy rate, this pales a bit when you consider he can probably make $50 million for fighting Paulie Malignaggi in a Boxing ring.

Not unless your name is James Toney and you're extremely desperate for a quick payday.

Khabib is a very good wrestler and in the street fight he would kill floyd , but he’s a very poor striker , so in boxing his chances against floyd are as high as 0% .
