Wilder's jab is probably his bmost consistent punch. Anyhow
Bowe kept him at Bay at timess with the jab, Lennox did and so did foreman. Akunwande would have shown us more about how an older Holyfield would have doone with todays Wilder. Butttt.....

Let's put it this way. Holyfield got inside 40% of the 24 rounds he was in the ring with Lennox.

Wilder wouldn't survive a total of 60 seconds of Holyfield doing his thing on the inside with him. Let alone 6 rounds.

 

Put it this way Wilder is 6'8 3 in he's taller than Lewis and has a longer reach as well. It would be harder for Holyfield to get on the inside and im not sure he'd be willing to take the risk.

At this stage it really is not a fair question? Holyfield would be made a clear and perhaps decisive favorite. Not fair to ask this questions until Wilder’s career is done so we know how he fared against elite comp.

Holy has proven to have the chin and toughness to take shots from greats and to hurt the best of the best...Wilder may well do that (I have some doubts), but we can’t answer that definitively just yet.

 

Jesus, dude, have you ever even watched Wilder fight? Nobody has trouble in getting to Wilder! Even guys like beachball Dustin Nichols and professional loser Sconiers managed to land on him. Comparing Wilder to an ATG like Lewis is disrespectful.

Wilder's only hope is his power against a guy like Holyfield, because Holy has about 3 x more skills than the Bronze Bummer.

Vs Wilder, a clumsy oaf who moves backwards in straight lines with his chin in the air, has ONE punch in his arsenal and is totally clueless on the inside.

To be quite fair and balanced, I feel that it would only be fair to point out Wilder did throw a body punch that one time.

Or he may have been falling over and tried to hold himself up by clutching the opponent.

But, from the right angle, it may have been a scoring blow.

 

Holyfield in his prime smashes Wilder into 1,000 string bean pieces.

 

Holy gets taken out by VADA before the fight even takes place.

 

Wilder's infighting skills are 15 levels below those of Lewis and Holyfield. He can't fight on the inside at all.
