It's simple, really. GGG is on his way down while Spence is on his way up. Manny Pacquaio has a better resume than anyone in boxing, his losses, his age and the fact that he hasn't had a top win in nearly 3 years hinders his p4p top 10 standing though. Spence is the best at WW, especially h2h where nobody is favored over him. Both ESPN and the Ring have him at the top of the WW list. 3 years ago before his fight with Lemiuex, I had Golovkin around the bottom of the p4p 10 list as well, despite only holding 1 belt and having fought nobody of note. But due to being the top of his division and wrecking havoc to all of his opponents like Spence is doing now, most if not all already had him in the p4p top 10. So no, my rankings aren't biased at all.
Sounds like excuses to me. A green Spence beat up and took Brook's belt in Brook's home country in Spence's first ever title fight. How can GGG be avoided in his prime when he did nothing to make the big fights happen, he just waited for handouts all of his career. He even ducked Andre Ward, the biggest legacy fight he could ever possibly get to hope for the chance to fight Canelo in which he lost lol.
Spence has never proved himself to be the best though has he. Golovkin has a weak resume yet beating Brook, Algeri and Peterson warrant a top 9 spot? I'm afraid you are biased and you say nobody is favoured over him? That is not a fact. What is is he has yet to actually prove he's the best in the division, Porter has a better win, as does Thurman yet these are not in your P4P.....strange. Fact is you are the only person I know of who has GGG not only that low but Spence for instance above him.
Knew it wouldn't take long for the "ducked Ward" card to come out. Ward was never ducked, he's in a different division. LMFAO at a "green" Spence.....Brook was a good win but he was coming down in weight from a solid 160 and a severe beating at the hands of the guy you claim is essentially crap.
i disagree; a ATG in Wlad, Povetkin was the third highest rank HW when AJ beat him whilst Whyte has gone stremth to strength sine being Koed by AJ and established hins3lf as one of th best in the divison. I certainly wouldn't class Payano as one of the top 5 Batamweights.
Wlad was a world class fighter but that doesn`t mean he had a better chin P4P than the guy Inoue sparked out and I was talking about how he set the shot up.
I had Brook ahead before Spence adapted and out jabbed him, Spences jab was far better in that fight than AJ`s was vs Wlad and others.
I can have a legitimate argument about whether Loma or Bud is #1. I can't really argue anyone else vs. Loma or Bud. Granted, a big part of this is the eye test as Usyk has a nice resume building and GGG beat Canelo, not officially but let's be real, which would be the best single win of the bunch.
1. Canelo 2. Lomachenko 3. Garcia 4. Crawford 5. Golovkin 6. Spence 7. Wagnek 8. Inoue P4P is subjective and arguments can be made either way. Canelo is the clear #1 imo after beating GGG and the resume he has accumulated Loma and Mikey are close in terms of P4P but I have been more impressed with Loma, however, he did lose to a battle worn Salido whereas Mikey gave the same Salido a good beating. From 4-8 I think its all extremely subjective.
