Great fighter, but as mentioned above I think his prime is getting wasted. A damn shame boxing politics rule the game, but there you are.
People champion Spence but his resume is no better than Crawford's, he has a win over Brook which is good then after that he has Algieri, Ocampo, Bundu, Peterson and Van Heerden. He's hardly a been through murderers row himself, both guys need there big superfortress and they are only likely to get it between themselves or Thurman at this weight. Crawford is on the wrong side of the promotion for WW though that's concerning.
Or Crawford may dominate Spence! Spence can get hit. He's a straight forward assassin. If you can't make him miss and pay or get his respect with power, he will bulldoze your ass into unconsiousness. I have not seen him use any different style, no adjustment. Not saying he can't adjust but, he puts the responsibility of adjustment on the opponent and it has been very sucessful so far. Crawford is among the best at making adjustments. So if Spence cannot make adjustments, I don't see him dominating Crawford. If Spence can adjust, it will be an excellent fight.
You must not understand that styles make fights. Both fighters were counter punchers and that makes for a very non-stylish fight. Porter and Spence are boxers who continually come forward and are made for a good counter puncher. The idea that Pac could beat Crawford is ignorant. You saw him in a knockdown drag out with Horn who Crawford played with. Pac is 38 years old NOT 28.
P4P is not a popularity contest it is about boxing ability. As for "popularity" the fight Saturday night was the most fight watched on cable this year. But thanks for playing
