Gorman is calling for it! Credit where it’s due to Frank he seems to matching his fighters against each other a fair bit recently so I hope he does with these two but I don’t see Frank allowing it any time soon though! I think he will let it brew a year or two and let Dubois develop a bit more. Only problem with that is I think Gorman will have moved on a lot quicker as opposed to Dubois by then.

I would say by summer next year the fight would make sense.

Warren wants it on PPV which means it would need a lot more building.

Early days of course but I think Gorman is some way ahead of Dubois based on what each has shown so far. DD is very likable and looks fantastic, but he's stilted and one dimensional. Gorman has variety and a deceptively fluid style. I really like watching him box.

I heard an interview with Frank regarding this fight not so long ago and it sounded a million miles away...Said they were on different paths but one day will end up meeting...Think it was a Talksport interview if i can find it ill post it

Get Gorman in a position to win the British Title. Then could be a massive fight for the British belt.

Gorman reminds me of Ruiz Jr.

I think Dubois struggles to beat him.

    Fwank not having it imo.

I think Frank may have underestimated how good Goram was and may have overestimated how good Dubois was.

No way will Frank kill off one of their prospects this early. Although Frank is quick to call out Eddie about not matching guys and demanding they put Buatsi in with Burton etc.

In Gorman's 8th fight he hugged his way to a close decision over Dominick Akinlande. In Dubois 9th fight he chased Kevin Johnson all over the ring. Big difference between Akinlande and Johnson. It just goes to show in Boxing you're only as good as your last fight.

Good point, must be vacant now with Hughie Fury fighting Pulev. Dubois is still the English champ.

I’d rather see Gorman or Dubois face Allen for the British Title than face each other.

Gorman has the much lower profile, but is the much better talent. Gorman would give stiff robotic overrated Dubois a bad beating.

Dubois needs more time to develop.

Gorman I think is ready for the Dave Allen's of the world (and beats him) and stepping up to commonwealth and european level.

Further down the line, I think Dubois vs Gorman is a close fight. I don't buy into the "Gorman smashes Dubois" comments that are all over social media. What are people basing that on? I think if Dubois uses his jab and balance well, he can take Gorman into the later rounds and then start to unload those big shots. I really like Gorman, mind, he has good quick hands and has more variety in his shots.

People keep saying this yet Dubois probably has the better resume:

    Gorman (age:22) highlights:
    • TKO win against Sokolowski
    • Pts against Akinlande
    • TKO Soltby
    • TKO Sean Turner (beaten by Sokolowski)
    Ranking titles:
    • BBBoC central area
    • WBC international silver
    Amateur record: 12-?

    Dubois (age:21) highlights:
    • TKO Darch
    • TKO Little
    • Pts Johnson (ex world title challenger)
    Ranking titles:
    • WBC youth world heavyweight title
    • BBBoC southern area
    • BBBoC English
    Amateur record: 69-6

What we have here is a contrast of styles. Get these lads in the ring and let them slug it out for the British.
