    Pascal remains high enough in the WBA rankings to merit them ordering their champ to fight him...by defeating Bosse (in his sophomoric pro contest)? :dunno

    O...kay. I'd thought I was desensitized to all the antics of the WBA by now, but this one has me thrown.

    Like ..snatching Elbiali's zero plus his status as former WBC titlist...I can swallow those as rationalization for ranking Pascal. Easily.

    But he fought Elbiali nearly a year ago, with that win preceded by a loss (and overall 2-3 skid going back a few years)...and in the meantime all he did was knock out 37 year old, 1-0 Bosse.

    Second to last. Then came back for a glorified exhibition against somebody that had made their pro debut earlier this year in his late thirties. And now for some reason challenging Bivol.

    Logical enough progression, right? By the WBA's standards anyway.
