I've seen enough of Kautondokwa to know he'll probably get schooled, but has a slight puncher's chance, Derevyanchenko is a stylistic nightmare for Jacobs, and my picking Sergey by KO doesn't make GGG look good, but... its what I genuinely think will happen, Sergey is twice as skilled as Sulecki, and packs twice the punch, its going to end up looking the the Pirog match.
If Pascal wins against Bivol, all four boxers would be fighting from Montreal, Québec, and three of them would have M. Ramsay as their coach.
Beterbiev is (probably) going to be significantly more active now that his promotional problems "appear to" have been sorted. Getting in some more rounds and staying busy is going to be important for Artur from now on. He looked less sharp in his most recent fight... and he paid for it by eating some clean shots and going to the floor against a game opponent who could punch (in Callum Johnson, who is also better than advertised). Now he's fighting Joe Smith Jr... and if there's one thing we know about Smitty, it's that he carries bricks in his gloves. This one will be brutal. Beterbiev's the favorite for sure, but he had better keep his Chin out of the air when he's throwing.
After the enormous succes of the first, Artur Beterbiev stars in "Bombs Away II" Coming to a cinema near you.
Why the hell does Joe Smith keep getting shots at the primetime? He's like a LHW Gabe Rosado. Guy falters at world level and yet keeps getting chances. He's not that good. Beterbiev and Bivol is the ideal fight IMO, I understand the other guys are already tied up. Put Smith in with Barrera or Marcus Browne, smh
We all know the answer as to why they keep pushing for him. America needs a Rocky Balboa and Joe is the one to play the part against the evil Russian. Its like Rocky 4 all over again.
Browne is "tied up" as well, don't expect him back in the ring anytime soon. And do you think a Barrera rematch will end differently?
Fun fight while it lasts. Obviously you have to favour Beterbiev, but Smith will be very dangerous if Artur tries to exchange with him.
I didn't know M Browne was tied up. Re: Sullivan, I don't but the "he broke his jaw that's the only reason for the loss" narrative would be put to rest.
Smith seems like a good guy, he has a huge punch, but I doubt he lands enough to make a dent. TKO say 9th round for Beterviev, who needs to step up his competition before Father Time starts getting involved.
The Jacobs fight is getting drastically overlooked, IMO. Jacobs has the skill and speed to give it a good go, Dere has the power and ability to end it at any moment. Really, I thought die hard fans would be more pumped about this fight than they are.
