John Ryder is only 5’9 and he should of got the decision against fielding and canelo is 30 times the fighter Ryder is.

Canelo is such an exceptionally gifted fighter, that Fielding will be completely and utterly outclassed.

I will be shocked if it goes the distance.

 

I reckon a body shot by the 8th will stop rocky.

 

Peds work after you stop taking them, your still pulling the advantages from them after your cycle

 

Fielding is meh. Canelo will destroy this cherrypick and all the Canelistas will spooge themselves after the 'epic' win.

This is some freaky fight... It's an exceptional A level little un versus & decent B- level big un! If GGG (who had Canelos head spinning every which way but loose) can't KO that freakish ginger mandible then Fielding isn't... If they were closer in skill level then Canelo would have a murderous time trying to negate that kind of size advantage but Fielding isn't good enough.. He'll be punching down, finding Canelo too elusive, too small a target, he'll probably get worked with counters to the body & gas a little having spent to much time hitting thin air & chasing! I don't think I've seen a size disparity this big at MW/SMW ever! Canelo is thick tho he's just short.. Shorter than Abraham & we all saw how he got on at 168!

Two things that people should factor in tho are Jamie Moore.. Top trainer. Also extra poundage in Canelo which may slow him a tad! Intriguing but fairly predictable outcome IMO I'd recommend Canelo stay away from big SMWs with athleticism, skill & a solid ring craft (we've seen him struggle with smaller athletic fighters before) tho.. Smith comes to mind! He walked through Groves & Fielding!! Can u imagine him versus a Calzaghe or a Ward too!

 

Clean? The cheat never stopped. He was roided for GGG 2.

 

Rocky Fielding may be a paper champion but Felix Sturm wasn’t much more than that when he took on De La Hoya.

I thought GGG edged both fights vs Canelo and is the overall better fighter but his come forward style played right into his hands and suited his counter punching style. If Fielding uses the Mayweather/Khan/Lara blueprint his size advantages may help him outbox him and stay out of danger for all 12 rounds. I’ve always felt Canelo can be a bit slow on his feet at times, which makes it a bit hard for him to cut the ring off. He’s great at slipping and countering on the inside but if Rocky boxes smart and patiently he doesn’t have to be on the inside.

Sometimes fighters move up to a weight class and can’t be as effective anymore. We’ll have to wait and see but this fight looks to me like it will be competitive.

 

What if Fielding via Lucky Punch ? Any chance?
