Agreed but the numbers would still work if he could gaurantee 1 million subscribers. The other thing that has to be considered is the amount of additionl subscribers he will generate worldwide for the Platform. A lot of eyes now on DAZN...

It’s funny because all of the bum squad who jumped the gun and started praising Hearn who had zero involvement in this. If anything this is direct competition to Hearn’s product because if there is a vast difference between GBP and Dossroom viewing figures, Hearn is at threat. DAZN now has three different boxing brands on its platform: Matchroom, WBSS and GBP. It’s like Sky Sports which used to have Scottish football, English football, Champions League football and Spanish football amongst others. When the Scottish football viewing figures fell low compared to the others, Sky ditched Scottish football for a while and Scottish football went onto an obscure platform called Setanta Sports.

This is how sports broadcasters work. They have different brands on their platform and whichever performs well they focus their investment on. Low viewing figures usually spells the end of the commercial relationship.

It may well end up attracting more viewers for the Matchroom shows so Hearn might end up profiting. We don’t know that yet. Like I said it may be bad news. The good news for fans is that surely Hearn will step up his product now and not give us crap like Miller-Adamek.

Those who immediately put two and two together and somehow tried to connect Hearn to this deal and who are adamant that this is great news for Hearn are the biggest bum boys in town.

Just relax, control your hormones and wait to see what happens.

 

Such a excellent deal. Even it was $20 combined, would still be a good deal. If you like boxing, and you live in North America, you gotta get both services. A real no brainer.

 

It's already happened, DAZN, WBSS, Golden Boy & Matchroom just jumped to the top of the boxing world, along with Arum doing well, getting good numbers with ESPN. Subs for DAZN are going to go threw the roof which is good for Hearn & yes Matchroom too. I'm not rehashing the same tripe with you, Dubois vs Johnson was just as big a dangerous mismatch as Miller vs Adamek. You don't have a problem with fish eyes promoting one, then quit being a hypocrite about the other.

Adamek is also two years older than Johnson.

Wrong. Sky offered the SPL a deal and the SPL declined it thinking they could get more elsewhere. The SPL chose to go to Setanta which was a huge mistake on their part.
