Al 'The Ghost' Haymon's seemingly losing his power in the boxing world, with top fighters like Canelo signing for DAZN and Hearn, instead of with Haymon, what can he do to regain his power in the boxing world?

Can start with actually getting his fighters fighting regularly

Boxing doesn't need him. It's better this way.

Agreed. He had his chance to make a positive impact on the sport and he completely blew it.

That's one thing I have noticed. His fighters are incredibly inactive, and I hate this because some are very good and could develop great resumes and become big stars, it infuriates me when I check and see nothing is scheduled and they are not injured etc. Why? I simply do not know, because surely if they were active, Al Haymon would be making more money from them.

Btw, I want someone to do a thread where we can summerise which fighter are signed with which promoter/manager so we can see who has the bigger share of fighters, bestter fighters etc. It would be a good way to see if DAZN is taking over or not etc.

I saw an interview with Arum yesterday and he said he hasn't seen Haymon for maybe three years. I guess Haymon is the same as his fight events - they barely show up to the public.

Im a haymon fan before im a boxing fan, to me and a lot of others Haymon IS boxing

His deal with FOX and SHowtime will be bigger than DAZNs deal.

DAZN has over 56+ shows a year now, and the fighters can fight on any card as regularly as they want. Haymon and his generation have nearly destroyed boxing to line their own pockets, they can't compete with an organization who is taking the sport mainstream again.

Yeah but the thing is he is super inactive. That's not the right way imo...

Lol. With Canelo and the shear number of shows from WBSS, Golden Boy, & Matchroom UK & US making their fighters relevant to the boxing fan I don't think so.

Bit too early to say Haymon has lost power he's still a big player in the sport in the US. He won't really lose power unless fighters start jumping ship. That's where a lot of his influence resides most US boxers are signed with him.

But the best case scenario is he ends up being the smaller of the 2 major players in the game. Showtime/Fox will play second fiddle to DAZN much like they did during HBO's golden era. I suspect that's what will happen.

https://thekingmaker.me/list-matchroom-boxers/ - Here you go - Eddie Hearns boxers. The article is from September this year so DAZN wasn't in the game yet.
