Think people are doing a disservice to Bruno here.

He was on the fringes of world level in a much more competitive era.

The entire status of the current heavyweight scene is based around the prowess of Wladimir Klitschko, who reigned over a slew of bums in the most boring fashion possible.

Bruno was better than some people give him credit for but Joshua is a bit better.

Bruno would have found a way to lose to Povetkin as one example

Bruno had a far better jab theres no debate about that, but Joshua is more of a natural fighter, he sees openings better and is a far more savage finisher, he also doesn't get overwhelmed on the big stage.

I love Bruno, what a nice guy he is but deep down he wasn't a nasty guy, Joshua is and it shows in the ring.

Tyson x 2, Lewis, Smith, Witherspoon. Bruno is rated from his spirited losing efforts and you seem to be making lots of excuses for him. McCall was his best scalp and arguably his only top 10 win.

I grew up watching Frank and have nothing but love for the dude, but let's be realistic...

Feel free to list his best wins.

Breland is entitled to his opinion, I personally don't agree with him.

Really poor interviewer if they didn't ask him to rate Wilders skill level after making that comment.

Bruno was I guy I grew up watching, so yeah I've watched Bruno, take off the rose tinted glasses and you might see things a bit clearer.

Yeah Bruno was a plucky loser which is one of the reasons why Brits loved him so much. Brit's love to see the man on top fall but give us a brave underdog and we'll follow him into hell, lol.

But Bruno's win column is lacking. I think he was better than many gave him credit far at the time and he had enough tools and heart to give many fighters problems but he usually came up short when it counted. Still love big Frank though, nothing like hearing Bruno being chanted, brings chills down my spine even now.

Bruno who gave Lewis a masterclass for the first 4 -5 rounds, had a ram rod jab and nice combinations when he let his hands go, which wasn't often. His chin wasn't great and he could get carried away with jab and was quite negative with his style. If he fought everyone like he did Lewis in those first few rounds he might have been more successful.

Comparing him to Joshua is stupid. They have completely different dimensions. The similarity is that they were/are both muscular. That's it. They're about as similar as Povetkin is to Tyson.
