Khabib doesn`t want to fight Conor again and I agree he will prove almost everything by beating Fergie, but he should also move up and fight GSP. Should he give Conor a rematch or not?

YES 100%..He makes 10 x maybe 20 x against McGregor, and he hates him and stopped him last time, so why not give it him again !! I do think he'll be forced by Whyte to fight him anyway

Khabib Senior said 2 years ago that he wants his son to retire as soon as possible as health is No.1

I’m a big Khabib fan, hope he stays for 3-4 more years.

He still struggles big time at making weight. He will have to move up soon to continue.

While it would be cool to see him stick around and try to cement his spot among the greats, I can't fault a guy for looking after his neurological health.

The fight with Tony is the best fight in the sport from a competitive standpoint. It is the equivolent of Calzaghe vs Kessler for the UFC 155lbs. division. The bad news for Khabib is that Ferguson stands the best chance of beating him of all opponents.

Ferguson has nightmarish bjj of his back and in scrambles. Also, the Conor fight showed that Khabib can hold down and pound out everyone like he did to Michael Johnson. Holding down Tony would be like trying to hold a feral cat, and he would have a serious edge over Khabib on the feet. Khabib would be the favorite, but Tony can win by points, submission, or by kayo.

Not if he beats Ferguson, the only thing thing left to acheive would be tio move up and fight GSP and then he would have done it all and just walk off into the sunset a king of kings.

Conor isn`t as important as Ferguson or GSP now, screw the money, legacy means more.

I personally don't see the point in a rematch -- at least not back-to-back fights with each other, a la TJ Dillashaw vs Cody Garbrandt -- since Khabib won in a dominant manner, and any rematch would end the same way in my opinion. Plus, giving Conor a rematch six months or eight months the line (or whenever any suspensions handed down to the two of them by the NSAC expire) only serves to freeze out Tony Ferguson, who has thoroughly earned the right to be at the front of the queue to fight Khabib next. That being said, if Conor bangs the drum for a rematch with Khabib in, say, eight months' time, Dana will undoubtedly acquiesce and pull out all the stops for his number one draw in order to make it happen. Money talks, and it doesn't care about my opinion, and -- unfortunately -- doesn't care that Tony has earned the next shot and deserves the next shot at Khabib. With regard to the UFC, recent history has proven that what McGregor wants, McGregor invariably gets. So if Conor really wants the rematch with Khabib, it will probably end up happening sooner or later anyway.

I would rather see Khabib fight Tony Ferguson, then fight Tyron Woodley at 170. If Khabib gets by Woodley, then maybe he fights GSP at either 155 or 170. I think Khabib vs Woodley is a tremendous fight for the MMA purists, and one I would love to see go down.

I think you’d be surprised how many would want to see it and, most crucially, would pay to see it.
