This guy is a dummy, Hearn screwed over big time and he wants to get taken for another ride. I hope he isn’t signing with DAZN in the hopes of getting a fight with AJ. If does sign I hope he gets his fight with Whyte, it’s likely to be a barn burner.

    What do you think?

I thought it was with matchroom he was interested in signing with, not dazn.

Nah I’m pretty sure it’s DAZN, unless I read it wrong. He already had a deal with Matchroom and he tanked, they bumped him.

I am surprised Hearn wants Ortiz considering his poor peformances for him last time.

That said, Hearn would have 4 of the top 10 HWs in AJ, Whyte Miller and Ortiz.

It'd be good if a couple of the top 10-15 HWs were under one TV station. It would remove a lot of right/financial issues that prevented fights in the past.

If that gets him fights with Dillian Whyte and Big Baby Milller and Povetkin and Parker, I think it's fantastic. If not, it's just noise to me.

His last fight was against Cojanu, Hearn can't possibly do worse than that.

Ortiz never had a contract with Matchroom. He was fighting at a matchroom event, yeah, but not with a longterm contract.

Cant see that like fight by fight would be more likely; considering his age performances and ped history.
Dont you think hes the exact opposite to the fighters hearn/dazn have been signing?

It makes sense because Hearn wants all the top HW, beside Wilder and Fury he has all the other big names and threats atm.

True which could make a difference in regards to the opponents Hearn selects for him. Though if I was Ortiz I'd want a contractual guarantee for Joshua or at least one fight that pays over a million. I suspect Hearn wasn't offering such guarantees before as Ortiz was still an unknown quantity to some degree back then and so was hesitant to sign.

Think about it bro, he has AJ, Whyte, Miller, he has made deals to get Wilder on DAZN, he made and offer to Tyson and Ortiz, those are the top 5 HWs atm.
