Boring it may have been BUT he got the job done and won it by being cute in there, Fury has a unique style and can adapt to most situations and usually does.

He will do the same to Wilder, and i predict it will be boring also but i do see Fury getting the job done again.

And as crazy as this may sound i firmly believe that he stops Wilder late on, with Wilder being completely exhausted.

Fury will mess with him lean on him in close (This is where Wilder loses it) because when you have a man that big leaning all over you pushing you down round after round, i don't care who you are you are feeling it.

Deffo Fury for me by stoppage or retirement on stool in about ten.

After those shocking performances against seferi and Pianeta I’m amazed so many on here believe fury will win.

Wilder via ko in 3 rounds

Same height same reach same unbeaten run same mindset same power BUT SPEED KILLS and I think Wilders bursts will be too quick when the point in the fight comes when they are both in trading distance.

Fury may be able to beat Wilder, but my suspicion is that he will then have 3 judges and a referee to overcome.

In my opinion if it goes the distance Fury will be a clear winner. I don’t see it going the distance, I don’t see it going past 7.

I agree with you. The big question on everybody’s lips after this fight will be ‘why didn’t Wilder just throw the right hand, was his shoulder injured’ etc.

Problem is so much of the fight come a down to the interpretation of the referee. I reckon the guy in LA won't allow any leaning and will warn and then dock points.

    Say what ?

Fury fought similar cans until he snoozed to death a washed up WK, who, in his PRIME, was waxed by genuine ham and eggers...........and then ran for the hills avoiding ANY competitive match.

Both, AJ and Fury;s claim to fame is to beat a over the hill WK, who, see above...........

I can't see Fury getting the KO even with the weight Fury isn't as sharp a puncher as Ortiz, he doesn't always snap his shots it's just he's massive so everything has some kind of power of them.

One thing you can't knock Wilder for is he comes to a fight in good condition. He was in danger of getting KO'd v Ortiz but managed to recover and find his power that to me means he has good stamina. I mentioned earlier in the thread I could see this being a messy fight to counter that I wonder if Wilder will conserve his energy a bit more.
Use his speed and fight in spurts. Hard jab and smash the right hand behind and concentrate on getting from shot from A to B as quickly as he can. Which then kinda plays in to Furys hands.

Tysons been down but he took Wlads punches late in the fight OK. Wilder can crack and with more speed but I think he will ride them OK.

If Tyson really was clowning around in the last fight then I can give him a pass a little bit hopefully he has more to give. He's only 30, not had a long hard career and has a style no one else in the division does, a big weight advantage and some legit skills.

i think Fury wins especially if he can lean on Wilder and find something to use on the inside, he was happy to give up his height and work the body in his early career and he might call on some of this to give Wilder something else to think about. ( on that note anybody know the last heavyweight title fight to be stopped on a body shot ko?)

But I doubt this is one the crowd in the pub will appriciate

I’m still upset that this fight is taking place so soon. Every man and his dog can see that Tyson needed at least another year of steady building with graduated increases in opposition level before it became clear what his current capabilities were. That is even the opinion of Eddie Hearn, who is somebody you would expect to be prejudiced against Tyson’s best interests.

It’s too much, too soon, and I fear Wilder will knock him out in catastrophic fashion. And being as mentally fragile as he is, Tyson will never recover.

    Yup

Most people are so obsessed with "getting one over" on eddie hearns that they are ignorant to the fact that Fury simply isn't ready

You don't play at boxing, especially not with a guy like wilder who has potentially life ending power, and I'm not saying that lightly.

Fury can get himself down to 245lb but the internal damage he's done is going to take longer than 6 months to go away.
