Povetkin vs Ortiz on the AJ undercard at Wembley in April?

I’d be very happy with that.

Yup, he is tryna Don King the division, if he can pull it off, it’s a wrap coz beside Canelo the HW division is the money division.

Ortiz has to prove himself first to be in consideration for the fight against AJ. If he is able ( a big if) to beat any of the more proven fighters in Whyte, Miller, Povetkin or Parker then that puts him in contention.

Well he wants to fight Whyte but Whyte doesn’t want it. Miller doesn’t wanna fight anyone, Parker has lost two on the bounce.

lol, Hearn is about making money and if that fight will make him money it will happen..

I didn't happen before because Ortiz tried to go the easy option for a belt so he could come back with more "pull" for a better deal than he was offered..

Shame the WBC protection team made sure he wasn't getting that belt after a good effort...

No it weren’t coz he makes more money with AJ fighting other people than potentially losing to Ortiz. Hearn thinks long term.

No it didn’t happen before because Hearn got this guy dropped from WBA rankings imo.

The WBC allowed him to fight for the belt even when he failed a drug test so what are you talking about exactly?

Whyte said he would fight him. Hearn is the one that said he prefers the Chisora fight as he believes it will be a bigger draw than Ortiz.

Miller just wants Fres, seems he believes having the regular title will make it easier to fight one of the two champions.

Parker has lost two on bounce but against top oppostion and is still a former WC with a stronger resume than Ortiz (as do Whyte, Miller and Povetkin).

No Whyte said he would fight him on the 22nd and Ortiz accepted and we haven’t Hearn anything since.

Miller is a clown if he beats Whyte he becomes the WBO mandatory and gets a big name on his record but he is Reyna fight for this crap regular title which means nothing to most fans.

Parker has opportunities than Ortiz, Ortiz would have a smoked everyone Parker had beaten better than he did. Just look at their common opponent, Cojaniu made Parker look cumbersome but Ortiz dusted him off ASAP.

Yet Hearn has let AJ fight Parker, Povetkin and Wlad and has offered Wilder a deal yet he won't risk Ortiz???

Ortiz isn't that good mate otherwise he would have been champ a long time ago.. No Ortiz like Wilder thinks he is worth more than he is so he won't fight AJ unless it is for top coin which quite frankly he isn't worth any money...

The WBC like Wilder has happy to let Ortiz fight their man because he is well past his prime and when Otriz had Wilder out of there the WBC Protection Team swung into action to protect their boi to ensure he got the win...

Come on how did he get Ortiz dropped from the rankings did he force Ortiz to take blood pressure meds and get dropped from everyone but the WBC's rankings. Same thing happened to Povetkin when he was caught doping. If Hearn had that much control over the WBA he'd have simply got them to never make Ortiz mandatory.

WBC were the one exception, they had a vested interest in making the fight happen unlike the other sanctioning bodies so they kept him in their rankings. Not the first time or I am sure the last time the WBC glosses over a fighter who's failed a test.

Lol but Ortiz is the scariest heavyweight alive, he's Sonny Liston, Foreman, Tyson all rolled into one. Other heavyweights don't even dare say Ortiz's name for fear it summons "The Old One" from the darkness.

Amazing how simply beating Jennings, going the distance with Scott and KOing guys like Martz and Cojanu has the entire division apart from Wilder running for the hills.
