I absolutely think Joshua would if it was up to him.

It is up to AJ, he is the fighter. Don’t believe this crap that the promoter decides, when you are a certain size fame wise the promoter works for you.

How would it be a dumb move? It would be a smart move for him. Ortiz will get a lot of good fights (Whyte, Povetkin, Chisora, ..., maybe even AJ) in a short period of time (very important for Ortiz with his age and health) for good money.

So you believe Hearn when he says it's all up to Joshua? Because everybody around here seems to think Hearn blocks Joshua from fighting guys like Ortiz & Wilder.

According to some Matchroom boxing fans here, it is stupid move to sign 59 y.o. Ortiz (who is also totally shot with high blood pressure according to them)

But according to the same fans, Hearn can't made mistakes and stupid moves.

    So where's the truth?

Nah I think Hearn advises Joshua and Joshua listens, if you are one of the biggest stars in the world no one can stop you from fighting anyone or make you fight anyone, not promoters, coaches ,sanctioning bodies or managers.

Do you not remember that he signed with Hearn before? He fought Malik Scott and Allen and managed to lose his mandatory spot for the WBA belt.

Of course if he gets to fight Miller and Whyte then it’s a great move.

DAZN is the future of boxing. Why fight once or twice a year against sub-par opposition when you can fight whenever you want, whoever you want and make as much as you want on one platform? Joshua, Usyk, Alvarez, the WBSS, all the big names and events are going to DAZN for this reason. Forget playing favorites with promoters and PPV providers, its the streaming platform where you can fight once a week if you want that will rule the future of boxing, and thank god its finally come along.

Hopefully it will be for him. If Hearn does him dirty again then I won’t sympathise with this guy.

It doesn't matter who Ortiz signs with. He doesn't have enough of a fanbase to make getting him good opponents financially viable.

He should show some loyalty to PBC, who have him due to fight his 4th fight within the space of 12 months. If he leaves for Matchroom, they won't do any better for him.

He should only leave if Hearn can make guarantee's that's for sure. If it's a 3 fight deal and Ortiz hasn't secured at least one good name or payday then he should pass on the deal. But it also depends what Haymon is offering him as an alternative, if neither of them are offering him a good fight then he might as well go with who is willing to pay more and that might very well be Hearn.

Joshua, Whyte, Chisora, Miller, Usyk, Povetkin, Parker, Takam, hell, even Bellew Zhang Kuzmin and Ustinov, Breazeale on the phone, the cream of the crop who are all, or will be, fighting on DAZN.
