Notice how the people who don't want DAZN to succeed are all Wilder fans?

Yeah well, i don't like the thought of being in the kitchen talking to my friend about the UK selling arms to Saudi Arabia, or establishment pedophilia, or anything outside the status quo, only for the smart device & its algorithm's to pick up what I am saying and black list me in a huge database. So when they roll out (and they will) the social crediting system like they are in China, I could be banned from getting flights or trains or incurring any other type of punishment for being a 'poor citizen'. Heck, in China (which is the testing ground), one of the punishable offences is for "spreading fake news" which of course is deliberately so open ended, it basically means that if you disagree with an official narrative then you are spreading "fake news" thus should be punished.

Don't call it tinfoil hat nonsense when Google & western governments have already spoke of this & the wheels are clearly in motion. Ahhh, why am I bothering. All you get in return is a bunch of ad hominem attacks from people who believe that it's impossible that our holier-than-thou governments who cover up establishment pedophilia, who lie about things such as WMD so they can get public backing to massacre over a million people, who have admitted to kidnapping their own people & torturing them in mind control operations, who sell arms to the barbaric Saudi's so they can slaughter the Yemeni, could want such control over society.

They are a strange bunch, they pay mega bucks for PPV but could get far better and cheaper with more content on DAZN

You don't need a smart TV, smart phone, etc to use DAZN. I stream it on my wired internet connected desktop computer, and use an HDMI cable to connect to my dumb HD TV.

I share the same concerns you do. However unlike with Facebook and social media and so many phone apps where you are the product used to generate advertising and therefore income for the company, DAZN like Netflix is a paid subscription service. Their business model isn't dependent on aggressively monitoring users to gain the highest return possible on targeted advertising. That's not to say they don't collect any data. They do, for subscription marketing purposes. But as a paid service they aren't dependent on it and their data collection shouldn't be as personally intensive as free services. If you're not willing to pay for DAZN you shouldn't be willing to pay your ISP for internet access.

Even if we still have some concerns about DAZN or their association with other delivery services and the world that's contributing towards, we're boxing fans and we should have to look at the trade off: it's simply much better value for money than cable subscriptions with HBO, and if we don't support quality broadcasting how do we expect the sport we enjoy to thrive? Do you go to live fights every month?

I never gave this much credence until I noticed that unless you disable the microphone section of each app on your phone, you'll start seeing ads appear for things that you've been speaking about out loud.

That’s true. A lot of people in my surroundings have recently started to worry about issues mentioned by @SambaKing1993, probably all that Facebook situation gave them some food for thoughts.

I don’t think DAZN is connected to plots on mass-control though, so I’d subscribe to it if I didn’t stream stuff online and only use my tv as a screen.

The irony when most haymon haters are dazn fanboys. Ive never understood hating on different ideas to bring more boxing to the fans. I hope dazn is a success and im a subscriber just like i hope haymon and pbc is. This is the gayest **** ever.

Even when disabled, it will still listen to you. Thousands of people, even those that think this sort of stuff is nonsense, have noticed times when discussing certain things with their friends and then they notice ads popping up relating to that subject. The tech companies have admitted it in the most damage control way they could. Another "tin foil hat conspiracy theory" proven true.

It’s purpose is much more sinister than trying to get you to part with your cash for that dream holiday you have been talking out loud about, as i mentioned in my previous posts.

There is a difference between accepting all your internet browsing being monitored, to your whole private life being monitored through these devices, you fud. Are you too thick to grasp that

But then again, people have been programmed to accept their privacy being infringed upon so your pathetic justification of "I don't have anything to hide" doesn't come as a surprise to me.

Fair enough. I assumed you needed one of those smart devices to download the DAZN app. My problem isn't particularly with DAZN, it's the fact that society is being pushed towards you needing to have one of these smart devices. Everything else will be frozen out so the convenient thing to do is own one of these devices.

I've never been to a live fight in my life. I don't think it would be better than watching on your TV, unless you are ringside for extortionate prices. As for people thinking DAZN is better value for money, I have no problem with that.
