Canelo is a good fighter but isn't that too much hope in him?

11 fights is a lot. Him getting KTFO and his star power hurt is not out of the question.

He's not like Broner or one of those guys that out of the ring antics and press conference bull**** keeps them relevant either.

Sadly you could be right. Will give Canelo the benefit of the doubt though.

Only 2 fights a year. He can do cherry picking like now, or when it comes to real challenge he can eat his steak, he can use his special handwraps and all the other advantages of the red corner.

But most importantly, he just has to survive and won 3-4 rounds and the judges gonna give him the decision.

And the boxing community won’t give a **** about it, because in this sport it’s accepted that the PPV start must be protect by the judges. Even fans don’t care about it.

Before this announcement I would've thought he only had 5/6 fights left in him max. I know hes only late 28 but he's been a pro years and he don't fight a lot..Suprised me this deal

Cherry picking like now? GGG was a cherry pick now or we're looking past his last two fights?

even if he loses, he is good enough that a rematch would probably sell more than the first fight. he is still fairly young to be on top of the mountain so a loss wouldnt be looked at like the end of the road for him. he already lost and barely scraped by a couple, yet here we are with the biggest contract in sports history.

That's a good question. Eleven fights IS alot and that's alot of money for them to recoup. Saul is 53 fights into his career and now in the weight class where exists the most risk for him. How does DAZN secure that level of investment? They just go "he'll be fine..." and what? It must be pay as you go at some point in the process.

Or, he can just knock everyone out because, if the fight is the least bit competitive, fan boys will cry for years to come if Canelo gets the decesion.

Don't forget he cherrypicked Mayweather, Cotto, Mosely and Lara too. He's picked more cherries than a Mrs. Smith's pie factory!

Right.. I don't get it.. Everybody in the sport is a cherry picker of we're calling him one.. Maybe except Ward because he retired before he fought anyone after Kovalev...lol

Floyd humiliated him, Lara got robbed.

Mosley was absolutely past his prime, Cotto is the best W on his resume but he was past his prime too.

The results of the fights are irrelevant.. You can't cherry pick Mayweather..lol Canelo was like 21 when he fought Mosley too...
