Ok so the title wasn’t strictly true but seeming as though there was no threads on it,thought I’d see what everyone thought?
My thoughts are that this fight has the makings of one of the most boring fights of all time.I mean Hughie Fury is so bad at times it makes Tyson Fury and his eight punches a round seem exciting.
Pulev is hardly box office either, last I saw of him was against Chisora and that was truly awful n all so given all that who is the favourite in this fight?

Bookies have it pretty much even. Slightest favor towards Pulev.

Not entirely sure who I favor. Pulev should be better, but he's getting old, seems to have no ambition, and has been so inactive. Might still favor Pulev though.

I'm interested in finding out who wins, but less so about watching it happen.

At least it's an even fight and good on Hughie for taking the fight unlike the big mouths Miller and Whyte who are too scared to leave their own countries.

Hope Hughie can win. I think he has a massive future despite the criticisms of him being featherfisted.

Seems fair and re Fury had I not seen him v Parker I’d fancy him but I rather feel he’s the heavyweight version of Broner, has all the talent and talks about knockouts but will likely come out and do his usual stinkfest stuff so given that Pulev ought to be able to pull it off.

Quite right and whilst I read the same about Whyte and Miller I’d add that Whyte has fought top opposition at short notice and he doesn’t fear losing like Miller does who to date has fought nobody whilst the rest are fighting each other.
Recent interview with Hughie said a win over Pulev puts him in position to fight AJ which he said he would love that fight(who wouldn’t)

I vowed never to watch Hughie Fury again after his disgraceful performance against Parker.

That fat ***** Mick also really pissed me off after the fight with his calls of robbery.

I will be giving all Hughie fights a wide birth. I may fast forward through the “highlights” though of the fight afterwards, especially if I am up in the early hours of the morning and need to get back to sleep quickly.

My prediction for this fight is Pulev to win via a UD. Hughie feels Pulevs power early on and then runs all fight to try and steal a decision.

Looking forward to this one. Good match up.

It could be a stinker to watch but these kind of fights sometimes intrigue me. I don't care if this one is a stinker, I'm interested to see who executes the right gameplan & how they will win.

Fair play sir, stinker or not it is an important fight and will eliminate one of top ten, meanwhile Miller fights in another 80/20 affair as is his way.

Can’t complain about the division of late with Parker v Whyte,AJ v Povetkin,Wilder v Fury, possible Ortiz v Whyte and now Pulev v Fury other than AJ v Wilder we getting what we hoped for and so long as Usyk does the business against Bellew well have him to liven things up and guys like Joyce,Dubois and Kownacki to add to the mix.

One of my most anticipated rematches in boxing. Beautiful display of Wrestling by Okolie, wonder how'd he fare against Aleksandr Karelin

fury backed out of going to New Zealand at the last minute. don't be surprised if he pulls the same stunt with Bulgaria.

This is basically going to be a watered down version of Fury/Wlad. One boxer moving looking to do just enough to win vs an old jab and grabber who's no longer quick enough to get off first.

Style wise this fight suits Hughie that's why I think he risked going to Bulgaria but it comes down to execution from Hughie. He blew it vs Parker, fought too timidly and it cost him. A repeat of that performance and we can put Hughie's career to bed because nobody will give him a 3rd chance.

It's going to a decision, it's not going to excite unless we see some controversy but it's competitive on paper and the winner will be mandatory so the result matters.
