He did nothing to fall short of what I think people have always thought of him - very good by domestic standards but not a world beater. He just dominated (and came near stopping) a tough but limited & featherfisted regional level guy. He did exactly what you would expect somebody of Coyle's level to do on paper. No more, no less. Where are you seeing anyone christening him a p4p king in the making? Or where did you see him being held up to such a standard that you'd consider this performance a disappointment?
