Someone on this forum suggested Wilder will demand a 60-40 split in his favour for a bout vs AJ if he beats Fury, I feel this is obsurd, does anyone agree with me that Wilder arranged the fight with Fury thinking that if he could beat an out of shape Fury he could convince the public that he has the right to demand the lion share of a fight vs AJ in an attempt to price his way out of that fight without being called a ducker?

Only if Wilder/Fury generates more then $60-70 mill that way he can say he's the bigger draw and deserves more. Chances of that happening are remote, will do well to generate half that.

Yes, unfortunatly i see it nearly exactly the same as you. I feel Deontay is in his own little bubble here and fully believes Hearn and Joshua are ducking and he is the baddest man on the planet and the most avoided heavyweight. But just outside that bubble his team have been protecting him and feeding him lies for years. I honestly believe he believes every single nugget of bull**** people like Finkel are feeding him. So thats why hes getting so mad at Hearn and Joshua cuz he is being told the Brits are making no efforts to make this fight when in reality its been his own team making lots of efforts to ensure this fight DOESNT happen.

I know if i were Wilder and i really wanted the Joshua fight id be banging down Finkels office door demanding to know why they are ignoring emails and refusing meetings to make the fight they claim to want so much. I think Fury and Ortiz are cherry picked fighters based on current form and health, there was never any rush from them to take on Fury when was fully fit, there was never any rush to take on Ortiz before he started making a meal of taking on domestic level fighters. There was never any rush to get that Povetkin fight back on after it turned out he was clean and not going to get banned.

Anthony Joshua is number 1 in this division and there is no argument that it could be anybody else right now and fleecing Boxing fans with ticket and PPV prices for the Fury fight isnt going to prove otherwise.

It's been reported in the media apparently. I personally think Deontay's being much too generous. 80 - 20 split, and Whyte must be fed to old grandpa Ortiz on the undercard. Lol.

Nope. Even after the Fury fight, hell, Dillian Whyte is still a bigger name than Wilder.

Yes it will propel him to global superstar level.

The reason being is that Joshua's brand only is big in the uk. Outside he is a nobody. Anyone that knows of him in the states, only associates him with being a coward.

Wilder will be a big name in the UK and US for being the man who beat the man who beat the man.

The very moment a casual watches an "all wilder knockouts" video, he insta-becomes a fan. If he beats fury, specially by terrifying ko, a lot of casuals will watch that video. The exposure would be insane. He better win this fight.

Yes he needs that type of highlight reel bone crushing, skull splitting, seize up on the ground knockout and to be honest that's the only way he's going to win

The fight hasn't sold out. It will do no more than 300k PPV Buys so I would say no.

    No.

AJ has 3 world titles compared to Wilder's 1.

It will be Wilder' first PPV, AJ has had 8 PPV fights.

AJ fights infront of 75,000 and over i his past 4 fights, whilst Wilder hasn't even boxed infront of a third of that.

AJ has 4 wins more impressive than any of Wilders in including the potnetial win over Fury.

Long story short Wilder is deluded or he is intentionally pricing himself out of fight as he has no interest in fighting AJ.

3 world titles that do not really belong to him.

Let's face it, he's a manufactured x-factor pop idol of heavyweight boxing. Chosen to sell boxing to the masses in the uk.

The justin beiber, or one direction of boxing.

Sure they have the most accolades, sales, hits, fanbase but you'd never consider them legitimate and compare them to real artists that produce magic for we know all their moves to get them in the top position, were cynically engineered, manufactured whilst bought and paid for.
