This is a joke of a fight considering and I understand there are obligations to Oquendo but really. Surely they could just pay him compensation and end this farce of a situation.

 

The only positive from this fight is that Miller will finally end Oquendo.

 

The other opponent considered was Dustin Nichols. Much too dangerous for big baby, lol.

 

Hearn said they are waiting to hear who Miller would fight for the regular belt. Hearn stated that Bryan wasn't interested in the fight.

If it's not Fres who will it be? Wallin or Jennings maybe?

 

This is silly. If Miller has any self-respect why would he want to fight a 45-year-old? All the guys he has fought so far have been punching bags. It really is a joke these days how guys are coming out of nowhere and being given championship fights solely because they have an undefeated record. The records are fake, in that they aren't fighting anyone. The 0 should not matter as much as the level of competition and "governing bodies" should stop this nonsense.

 

That's one of the big problems with the proliferation of titles, you get guys like Miller, Martin, Wilder getting title shots without ever earning it. Even Joshua fought nobody of real note prior to fighting Martin, though he's proved his worth since.

You can literally become world champion without having fought anybody which just devalues the meaning of being a world champion.

 

I don't mind Miller fighting Bryant and Oquendo.
Just taking care of WBA's trash otherwise this nonsense will linger on.

 

Not Millers fault that Oquendo wants still be a part of the circuit.

If Oquendo would finally retire for good we would have Miller vs. Bryan and this would be actually a pretty good fight.

 

At least Fres will get his shot and a payday

I disagree with the fact he hasn’t had a fight in years, not even low-level tune ups. I find it embarrassing.

Expect Fres to get hit, not fancy it anymore and stay down early in this fight.

By any definition Fres is a retired fighter. No idea why he hasn’t fought a can per year to keep himself ticking over either.
