Great point and explanation. For me personally, I feel Oscar has caused a lot of the hate for Canelo, the power side have abused imo.

You do realize that's a worse case scenario OPINION simply based on anti-Canelo bias.

Joe Louis , Rocky Marciano and Monzon are a few names that come to mind.

So again name the top fighters whether now or in the past who hasn't had close decisions in there biggest fights... better yet who is your favorite fighter all time go through there biggest wins and tell me there's nothing questionable or close

I do think this Canelo can reverse his loss and disputed wins if faced with the same fighters again. He's matured now with massive confidence. I tell you one thing though, Floyd wouldn't fight this version, even if they met at a catchweight

Rofl, no. Joe louis was not economy of movement was lack of movement, the same lack that HW had all the time until ali basically. And economy was not ali's signature exactly. I dont have an exact picture of monzon's style in mind, still, no there's no pre 80's fighter with meaningfull economy, not a single one. You see gg, and it's amazing, you see durán and it's amazing too, but for other reasons, not because of economy. A lot of moves from durán bring nothing, you wont see that on gg for instance.

Show me a fighter jumpy jumping all around the ring in a serious (not missmatch, not show off) fight, and I will show you a bad fighter.

    EDIT: in 2018 obviously.

I wont stop saying the truth. It's not my fault you have no clue about what you see when you watch a fight. Not my fault if you see no difference between the way mayweather manages his movements and the way robinson/duran/leonard... or any other pre 90's did.

He don't have to reverse anything. he won those fights, only haters don't give him credit for those wins.

Your lost man.. When someone uses the word demolish, I think of Tyson wrecking someone in 2 rounds or Golota getting iced by Lewis in 1, I never think a hard fought 12 round fight as demolished, its not even remotely close. You are ****ed pal, zero point coming on here if you cant distinguish between the two, its worse than hating, its just stupid !

Think he's gone beyond the consideration point in all fairness, he will most certainly be classed an ATG when he is done

Floyd Mayweather - 2 controversial decision s against Marcos Maidana and Jose Luis Castillo. However , clear and definitive victories over Pacquiao, Cotto, Álvarez, Coralles , etc. He might have a couple of controversial decisions but he did not have one EVERYTIME he stepped up his level of comp like Canelo does. His career defining wins are at worst close but clear decisions . Canelo does not have a single career defining win that’s not marred with controversy
