Even if it does lower than 300 wilder deserves more than 20% why should he get less than parker? But at same time wilder is crazy if he really is after 50-50 surely it’s just a negotiation tactic but if not then yeah it’s just a ******ed demand.
Wilder will get more than the 20% regardless but the 40% will require Wilder v Fury to be a big box office hit
Good thing wilder is generous for the FANS willing to give Joshua 50% ? Best thing in boxing would be wilder losing on December 1st ,he's contributed next to nothing since 2009 other then knock out highlights against guys he should knock out. Guy needs to have that belt removed so HW division can at least have the number 1 and 2 guys fight which would be Fury and Joshua a far easier fight to make even if Warren is involved bc its then a U.K super fight and less money to be in conflict.. Wilders own words should have ANY fan of whoever concerned having this guy as a belt holder hes not a good champion at all and will avoid better fights if he can...of course hardcore fans are littered with much more idiots then actual smart people so that's why he actually has a big support group here in the states. Though MANY are coming around ,sometime even the dumbest can take only so much....
I agree with Hearns side of the argument, to me it's clear Wilder does not really want this fight with crazy 60-40 or 50-50 demands. Wilder's team wont even have a conversation, and now Wilder wont be reasonable at all to me says none of them ever wanted this fight to begin with.
If Wilder Fury does 1 million + Wilder deserves 66% IF Wilder Fury does 300k Wilder Deserves 50% 300k US PPV buys is the equivalent of 1 million UK Buys, which is what Joshua does, so how could Wilder be worth less?
He should of just offered the 60-40 from the start instead of the flat fee. The 80/20 split is pointless if he offers that there won’t be a fight.
This is supposed to be a huge mega fight. That's what they are saying. 300k US PPV Buys means it certainly isn't a mega fight.
So if it sells 1.5 million PPVs does that mean Eddie is going to give Wider 60 and Joshua 40? Wilder and Joshua aren't going to fight. The window closed. If Wilder sells anything close to a million PPVs he's a PPV fighter. That's it. And DAZN doesn't do PPVs. And Wilder won't be going to DAZN. So that's that. By this time next year, Wilder will be a PPV regular and Joshua will be mounting a comeback after he lost his titles to someone he shouldn't have lost to because he got bored fighting mandos.
Because a big % of buys will be generated by Tyson Fury. AJ can sell 300k PPVs in UK fighting guys like Molina. No doubt that Wilder can't make even 3k US PPVs fighting guys like Molina.
