I agree with what you say. But do you think it's good for the sport for champs to stall their mandatory fights? What happens to the guys that deserve a title shot?

 

WBC and Haymon are happy to stall the mandatory fight.
Charlo really needs to get a new advisor.

 

No not at all but again if I was in GGG position is go another belt route unless he's cashing out with a 3rd Canelo fight.

Not to shy away from Charlo, but imo GGG if he was to beat Charlo (which I think he does) is not wanted by the WBC and unless he KO's Canelo he's not winning a decision and is effectively being pumped by a blatantly corrupt pro Mexican organisation.

He’s turning 37 has made a boatload of money at an age where he’s mature enough not too blow it recklessly

He knows he’s not the same fighter so I don’t see him taking any crazy challenges unless there’s a big payout

Outside of Canelo there is no one
My expectations are close to nil

Besides there are other fighters careers more worth following now
Loma Crawford Wilder etc
