Nope, prograis is beastly, flanagan although decent enough got easily beaten by maurice hooker who only really had range over him.
No chance Flanagan got too used to fighting WBO bums that Frank fed him, that when he finally stepped up against Hooker he was ill prepared. Same thing is gonna happen against Prograis except this time he'll get KO'D.
No chance what so ever. Flanagan feasted on bums for 30 fights and thought he was a lot better than he was as a consequence. I remember a video segment before his fight against Petrov saying he'd never lost a round as a pro. He then goes and loses against a very average Hooker, who was shutout vs Perez but got a gift draw. I can see Warren dropping him after this fight. A badly mismanaged career for sure.
I can see it being similar to the Smith vs Munguia fight initially, though I very much doubt Terry Turbo will be as durable and will likely get stopped around the 3rd quarter of the fight. As already stated, Flanagan has little to no experience or preparation for this kind of opponent.....
I think Regis will win but I have a feeling this will go the distance, Terry is a tough ******* and his best asset is how good of a spoiler he is.
Flanagan was excellent in his fight with Hooker, most entertaining fight he’s been in. I don’t like being negative here though but he’s just got no chance here. He’s a tidy boxer and very tough, but he just doesn’t carry the power to make an opponents legs buckle. I think his heart will get him to the end of the fight with a decision loss.
