Honestly, personally I think he should retire. But if he keeps fighting I think then at this point... Saunders is the only fight that really makes sense for G.
Because he wouldn't fight his mando and gave up his belt in the process. Canelo is only responsible for his own fight falling through. He's not responsible for Golovkin or who he chooses to fight. There were good options available for Golovkin and he turned them down in favour of one of the worst cherry picks of all time. What makes matters worse is Vanes wasn't even one of the bunch that was calling him out , Golovkin and his team targeted him directly despite him never being a MW and not having a fight , never mind a win in two years. At least Canelo has the gonads to take gimmie fights from higher divisions and not from lower divisions like Golovkin.
I'll admit it... I though Murata was a total beast. Didn't fancy Brant having much of a chance. Got to rethink all that. Perhaps Brant is among the best of the MW bunch? I just don't think so. So what does that say about Murata? I don't know, but it isn't good relative to my opinion/expectation/hopes from just a couple days ago going back for a couple years.
Just when the division is full of killers he can just do what he wants. The reason why GGG gets so much hate is because he has been fighting in a weak division for 90% of his career. Now Charlo and Derevyanchenko shows up. Two clear cut mandatories and he avoids both but he fought Wade with no hesitation. Now I know what you're gonna do. You're gonna give excuses for why he couldn't fight two mandatories. I remember when GGG was all about becoming undisputed champion. When he dropped his IBF you can't have it both ways. So go right ahead and give me your excuses cause it will only make you look weaker.
