WBC & WBA super: Saúl Álvarez WBC interim: Jermall Charlo IBF (vacant, TBD): Daniel Jacobs or Sergey Derveyanchenko WBO: Demetrius Andrade WBA regular: Rob Brant Which do you think would be most successful in a unification gauntlet w/ the other four? edit: Final warning: any mention, explicit or implicit, of either GGG or BJS, in their capacity as former world titlists or how they "should" be included on the poll, results in an immediate 2-month+ ban.
Canelo He has an iron mandible, the skills to be competitive against any other boxer, and most importantly he isnt losing on the cards unless its a complete shut out, which then its still a possibility that one or all of his judges give it a draw.
Going by a Derevyanchenko victory. 1. Derevyanchenko 2. Canelo 3. Jacobs 4. Andrade 5. Charlo 6. Brant
Interesting. I'm leaning towards Jacobs, so my list is pretty similar except with SD and DJ swapped around...plus I think I'd have Brant switched up with Andrade (but leave Charlo at 5 where you've got him) - at least based on their respective Murata & Kautondokwa form, if we're to assume that is each at his counter-punching best against made-to-order come-forward opponents.
Canelo Derev Jacobs BJS Andrade (though I think he might overtake BJS) Charlo (same as above) Brant (Haven't seen him fight to be honest, going with other people's opinions here) As you can see, I don't rate BJS too highly
Well you needn't rate him at all, for these purposes - he doesn't currently hold any version of a world title.
Sadly, this guy might have it right. I think Jacobs and Andrade can beat Canelo, but the Ginger will keep it JUST competitive enough for his paid off judges to score it a shutout in his favor.
