Wlad is far more accomplished then Joshua overall. Also, Joshua went life and death with ancient Wlad, so prime Wlad would probably KO him 9 out of 10 times. Joshua did mature earlier then Wlad, you're correct there.

You're not beating a prime Joshua if you're dropped , running away from and holding on for dear life against a bum like Peters.

Wlad was stopped by a green , pre-prime Joshua , not a prime Joshua.

 

No question AJ has had the better first half of his career. But it's the championship rounds that count in a match and the prime years that count in a career. If AJ loses to Wilder, Fury, Usyk; he won't touch Wlad on legacy when it's all said and done.

Beating Charles Martin doesn't mean you are championship level. Joshua fought Wlad too early yet he still won.

Even Wlad said at the NYC press conference it was too early for Joshua.

You can class Joshuas career so far a bit rushed, he could of took alot more time rising up the ranks and not been questioned on it, Still not as fast as some like Inoue or Lomo but still fast. Wlad, Povetkin, they seemed to rise up through the ranks nice and steady as the largest percentage of Boxers do it, so there is no shame in that just cuz people like Joshua have gone a bit quicker.

But there are fighters who went through something like over 30 fights before they dared to step it up much and even after 40 their picks of opponents are a bit questionable and at times a bit cherry picked. They are the ones that are getting embarrassed by people like Joshua and other fighters who are building up better resumes than them.
