Really, it IS a close contest between Lennox and Vlad for the most boring.

A George Foreman with the footwork and defensive skill of Willie Pep would be so hard to beat that you'd have to bring an Uzi in the ring with you.

Ali punched hard enough to knock Lewis out, the right hand he hit Foreman with to end their fight would have dropped Lewis, never mind the heat and the punches that destroyed Williams would have destroyed Leiws because there was so many of them.

He was easy to hit with the jab, if he`d been more aggressive he would have ate even more central shots. He walked through Vitali`s shots at the end of their bout.

Lewis wasn`t the hardest puncher in heavyweight history and he wasn`t the most skilfull, aren`t tghere a number of heavies who if they had Holy`s chin they`d be tough to deal with, I don`t get what you`re saying. Amir Khan Holy`s chin in his respective weight class would have been interesting but he threw better combo`s than Lewis did and he had better footwork.

I admit I've only seen three or four of his fights.

    Alright calm down

Actually id say the opposite. Marciano's dart and dash was good, and his handspeed was certainly underrated, but his wide, wild looping punches often missed their mark

    You´d better watch

    Lewis - Ruddock
    Lewis - Golota
    Lewis - Grant
    Lewis- Botha
    Lewis - Bruno
    Lewis - Rahman 1/2
    Lewis - Briggs
    Lewis - Klitschko

I´ve no idea what you were talking about. The last two fights are absolute stunners!

His KOs are fun to watch, but lewis is more of a jab-and-stay-away guy for early rounds until he sees an opening

Lennox with an iron chin still is open to big right hand leads due to his left dropping. He would still have late round stamina issues due to carrying so much weight, and he still had a tendency to be super cautious unless he was 100% certain the opponent was hurt then hed finally open up. Against an equally durable guy who has a high workrate and/or good handspeed, these flaws would be highlighted even more and could lead to him dropping decisions. The holyfield and mercer fights come to mind.

There are a few other things, like his jab could be pawing and lazy at times, and he didnt always throw enough combinations or move his head while avoiding or blocking shots. Hed be a force to be reckoned with but hardly invincible even with an iron jaw.

Don't forget the Mercer and Gary Mason fights and his domination of Morrison was impressive too.

Lewis was not a boring fighter, he was certainly in a few boring fights like Holyfield 1,the Tua snoozefest and the rematch with McCall (not Lennox's fault that one), but a boring fighter ?? No way.
